Help me pick a Windsor Hills Condo!

I started searching VRBO yesterday and now I have a ton of emails from people with condos at Windsor Hills. They all seem great, so I need some thoughts on how to narrow down the field (besides price, of course!). Any thoughts on what buildings/floors are preferable? Do I want to be close to the pool or not? How far away are those buildings anyway? Would I use a splash pool in December? Some of the townhomes are close in price to the condos. What are the pros/cons of the townhome vs condo? As you can tell, I need something to do today! :) If you have a link to a great condo that you stayed in before, I'd love to have that, too! I'm having so much fun looking at all of them!

Condos vs townhouses: The condos are in 4 story buildings. All the rooms in the condo are on one level. I think they all have a small balcony. Parking is in a parking lot near the building.
Townhouses are in 2 story buildings. They have an upstairs with usually a master king bedroom/bathroom, washer/dryer, and twin bedroom/bathroom. Downstairs there's usually a queen bedroom/bathroom, kitchen, and a dining/living room area. From the patio doors in the living room you can step out onto a patio with a 12 ft square splash pool. You park by your front door. Other than your own family there's no one on the floor above you thumping or making a noise. We had pool heat and used the splash pool in the late fall. The water was warm and you're only a step or two from being inside. Although we used the main pool too it was nice to just be able to step out into your own pool without having to lug stuff to the main pool. You can watch the kids from the kitchen/living room. The patio doors have alarms and there is a fence around the pool for child safety.
We've only stayed in townhouses. It's nice being able to park beside your front door for transporting shopping and kids (although we didn't have kids with us). One townhouse we were in was as far from the main pool as you could get and it only took us 5 min. to walk there. The condos would be similar. A couple of websites for townhouses that get good reviews:

We stayed in one of storytimeorlando's rentals last year. When I got quotes I too realized it was about the same $ to have a town home as it was to rent a condo. I liked not having anyone above us. Parking was always easy as each town home has a couple spots right out front. The pool is actually in the very front of the resort and we actually never used it. We did use the splash pool once, but really it was like swimming in a bathtub!

Yeah, for about $1200 total I can get a townhouse. Way better than the $3300 I'd pay for a suite at Art of Animation!

You may want to try these websites. www.windsorhillsofficialrentals.com and www.windsorhillsbest.com. Both are websites by owners at Windsor Hills and all condos, townhomes, homes are verified by the Masters Association before listing so up to date on all fees, etc. There are also some very nice homes and invested owners who advertise there. They are also the recommended websites by the Masters Association.

I prefer the townhomes to the condos because of the additional room and the splash pools.

We have stayed at WH a couple of times. This one was our favorite. http://www.mickeyscondo.com/safari/

We also LOVE Indian Creek(1/2 mile down the road from WH) We stay here for less then $1000 for the week and it has a game room and private pool! We stayed in Happiness house 2X and are staying in Dream house this October. The place is so luxurious, but kid friendly(we have 3)

Decision made! Decided to go with a townhouse. I have no idea if we'll use the splash pool, but knowing my kid, he will probably love it! So, with pool heat included it will be $1100 and change for the week. Not too shabby! We went with one of the townhouses from this guy: www.windsorhillsrentalvillas.com I won't say which one, so you can't all stalk me! ;)

It must feel so good to have come to a decision! Have a great trip and don't forget to tell us about your stay.
