We are going down for a quick trip next week and I want to try something new (if I can get the adr of course!). We will be at the MK, Epcot and MGM. I've not tried alot but I want to branch out, help me choose!

I've only been to these restaurants (and some multiple times and need to branch out).

Chef Mickey's
Ohana's
Kona
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Tony's
Concourse Steakhouse
1900 Park Fare Supercalifragilistic breakfast (at the GF Cafe during its rehab)
1900 Park Fare Cinderella's Gala Feast (dinner)
Crystal Palace
Rain Forest Cafe
Akershus-Princess Storybook Breakfast
Polynesian Luau
Hollywood Brown Derby
Cindy's Royal Table

How about 50s Prime Time in MGM? Great food and fun atmosphere!

Any interest in Sci-Fi at MGM? The attraction there is the atmosphere, which is great entertainment, but the food is pretty average.

At Epcot, you may enjoy a character meal at Garden Grill. Excellent food (family style), good character interaction, and a revolving restaurant that slowly rotates above "The Land" ride.

Just outside Epcot, at the Beach Club resort, you could try Beaches and Cream. It's a cute little place that serves fabulous burgers and ice cream desserts. No ADRs are accepted there, so you could walk up there.

At MK, how about Liberty Tree Tavern?

Just a boat ride away from MK, you could try Trail's End buffet at Ft. Wilderness. Good food, and a great value. No ADRs are accepted there, so you could just go anytime.

Have a great time!! :)

50's Primetime would be my choice for MGM. It always a must do for us

In Epcot, our only must do is Berigarten.
Can't really suggest a TS for MK. Our fav is Ccrystal Palce, which you've already been to.
However I love eating at Peco's Bills during a parade. We've been known to eat there 2x in one day to catch both parades.

Loved Citrico's, go to sci-fi every trip (Love the atmosphere), San Angel and Coral Reef, Spoodles, and in the past Japan, can't wait to try the newly refurbished!

Usually there is no problem in getting reservations for either Bistro de Paris or Victoria and Albert's. Of course neither of them are on the Dining Plan and neither have children's menus.

How about Mama Melroses Italian at MGM, Dh and I love this place
At Epcot, try Tutto the Italian in Italy (suprisingly) or the Coral Reef, which is near the Living Seas, and has one wall of glass so that you can see into the aquarium! Or how about the Nine Dragons in China... this is excellent too.

Yum now I'm feeling hungry, thinking about all that food!

thanks for the suggestions! I am thinking of trying Tokyo Dining at Epcot and Mama Melroses at MGM!

I thought Tepan Edo/Tokyo dining was closed for refurb through October? Have they changed the dates & moved them up?

We did Coral Reef for the first time this trip. DD6 really, really loved Coral Reef. This was the first trip we didn't do Nine Dragons but only because we couldn't fit it in. We love dining there. You could try Tony's in MK. DD loves the decor & theme.

We ate at 50's Prime Time for the first time and I thought the meatloaf was revolting. I took two small bites of it and then just ate my veggies. Our waiter never even asked if there was a problem with it. The Fried Herb Cheese appetizer was interesting but I'd likely order soemthing different next time.

Spoodles
Coral Reef

Most likely hard to get an ADR at most of these but:
California Grill (CR)
Artist Pointe (WL)
Citricos (GF)
Chef les France (Epcot-WS)
Coral Reef (Epcot)
San Angel (Epcot-WS) atmosphere
Plaza Restaurant (MK) burger/shake
Sci-Fi Diner(DS) burger/shake

50s Prime Time is a fun place to eat and we enjoy the food there. Sci-Fi has a great atmosphere, but we find the food lacking. One place that we always go to is Boma, I know you don't plan on going to AK, but it is worth a trip to AKL for a unique dinner and the lodge experience.

We're more Epcot people so my faves are slanted that way:

For you and your husband, Flying Fish (BWI). Not sure the kids would get much out of it, and it could be kind of pricey for kids who don't care, but I don't know you guys. They could have high standards :)

Bistro de Paris is OK. Service is great. My fiance and I went there last year and each got the Tasting Menu, which I think was more courses than it is now, with the wine paring. The food was pretty marginal, so I wasn't too happy about that. $$$$

Rose & Crown has decent pub food & good beer.

Sci-Fi is kind of neat, but I had some sticker shock with the shakes. It had booze and was good though. Nice and calm inside.

Spoodles is not bad.

And I like ESPNZone, but it's really just a run-of-the-mill sports bar. It would be fun to see a broadcast filmed there, but I'm sure it's slammed when that happens.

AVOID!!!:
Fultons
Planet Hollywood

Yes...you have to try 50's Primetime! That is always a must do for us!
We were there 2 weeks ago and our new TS's we tried were LeCelliar & Boma! We loved them both!!!:)

On our last trip ( oct 06) we ate Rose and Crown in Epcot. Wonderful evening- great view of Illumincations.

We also loved California Grill. We went at the request of a friend with a 6 and 2 year old. We have been to Disney 4 tiems and they still talk about the wonderful time we had.

Hi! :) I would have to say try Boma's and 50's Prime Time. The food, decor, and atmosphere at both is awesome!

Oh yeah, Boma is pretty cool. Interesting options in there. $25/pp for dinner though (OUCH!) I just don't consider buffets to be TS.

Spoodles
ESPN Club
Beaches and Cream

All are in the EPCOT resorts which is a short walk from EPCOT!:thumbsup2

WE love 50's Primetime at MGM. Also, Boma was worth a trip to the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

How about Mama Melrose at MGM? We ate there for the first time in July and LOVED it! The restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff is so nice!
