Now that my MNSSHP tickets problem is solved, I think I'll book another party

We're going for the 23/10 party
- thursday 25/10 is open (but is only 2 nights after first one, and we'll probably have the dessert party on the 24th. Might be too tiring for our 4yr old)
- friday 26/10 is closed (we'll be in IoA)
- sunday 28/10 is semi-open (we have an 8 o'clock ADR the next morning at Ohana's)
- tuesday 30/10 is semi-open (we have an 8:20 ADR the next morning at Crystal Palace)
- Wednesday 31/10 is semi-open (next morning8:15 ADR at Hollywood and vine
- 2/10 is closed (celebrating my birthday at Ohana's)

I've seen reports that weekend nights are more crowded, but I also saw reports that crowds were roughly the same. there are also reports that dates close to halloween sell out fast, meaning they might get more crowded.
I really don't know

What would you choose if it were for you ? What day would you pick ? Would you change ADRs and which one ? Would you go on halloween night or is it going to be crazy packed ?

Thanks for your input

All the dates you're suggesting are likely to be sold out, so the crowd levels will all be the same (i.e. full capacity). 2nd November will be better, but you've discounted that.

Personally, I wouldn't want to do a party twice in one trip. Nice to do once, definitely, but on the whole, they're just a means for Disney to get you to pay more to spend an evening at the park.

We found that two parties in a trip work better for us. The first year we did aan October trip we went to one and felt it wasn't enough. Last year we booked two and it was perfect. We had certain areas of the party to focus on for each night and we did a LOT. I felt that we got more value for our money by doing two parties than we did when we only did one, and we are definitely doing two again. It makes a lot more sense if you want to do a lot at the party and also if you have small children, so that you can pace the evenings.

Late October parties tend to be busier. I would steer clear of Friday or Saturday nights and the dates right on and surrounding Halloween itself. One of our parties last year was a Sunday night and it was sooooo quiet (as opposed to the Tuesday in the week running up to the 40th Anniversary celebrations :scared1:)

I would personally go for the Sunday night if possible

Thanks

I've just booked for sunday 21st
it was not in my list but it works fine with our planning.

we're doing 2 parties, yeaaaa :dance3::dance3::dance3:

:cool1: So glad you got them. Are the tickets reflecting the correct date this time? ;)

LOL
