I'm gonna go ahead and book it for our Jan trip. What room do I want? Standard, Premium or Deluxe? I know the descriptions are on their site, but if anyone has basic firsthand knowledge of the diff's I'd appreciate it. It would be me and dh, 3 kids (3, 5, 7). TIA!

Basic differences....
standard (double)- 2 oversided double beds, 2 story building, no elevator (problem is you will have a stroller), fridge, No microwave, some rooms face pirate water play area/hot tub, balcony
**in a nut shell** double bed, no elevator or microwave

standard (queen)- 2 Queen beds, freeway facing, fridge, No micro, in 7 story building
**in a nut shell** no micro, freeway facing

Delux- 2 queen beds, may/most have balcony, 4 story building overlooking pool, fridge, microwave, some have pillow top beds
**in a nut shell** micorwave

Premium- 2 queen pillow top beds, balcony with disney view (some obstruction by trees), microwave, fridge, 1 sink in bath area, 1 sink outside bath area
**in a nut shell** guranteed pillow top bed, disney view, sink outside bath

We like the delux rooms

Building 2 with the deluxe rooms is our favorite. It's quiet and overlooking the garden pool. :thumbsup2

You can actually get a good look at the different room categories over at our YouTube page!

Hope this helps! :goodvibes

Thank you all! I'm gonna check out the youtube link. So the standard really has smaller beds than the rest? They all say queen on the site. Thanks!

The video goes into lots more detail, but the NDD1 rooms feature two oversized double beds [also explained in the video] and the NQQ3 features two queen beds. :goodvibes

We like the premium rooms

You have the info. for the premium and the deluxe rooms reversed. :-) The deluxe rooms are overlooking the pool, and the premium rooms are the ones with the disney view.

THANK YOU!! I fixed it in my post above.

You're welcome! I thought it was great that you put everything in a nutshell for people to see. :-)
Sometimes people read through everything and there is so much to retain that they miss what they are really looking for, i.e. the availability of a microwave, etc., so I think that was really helpful.
We've only stayed in bldg. 2 overlooking the pool, so I can't make a comparison to other rooms, but we love it there and will be returning in October.

Just got back from another GREAT stay at the HoJo, in the NDD1 rooms...we LOVE the pavilion rooms!!! You can ask for a bottom floor room so if you do have a stroller you won't have to carry it up and down the stairs. The only thing I wish was different with these rooms was the no microwave...but honestly.....we've never used them when we have them so it's not that big a deal for us. :) Our second choice is Bldg 2, pool view, but we only go for that if the pavilion rooms are gone. Even my 6'3" DBF likes the pavilion rooms. :)
