Planning a last minute hotel stay to do Disney with my youngest as a surprise since his dad and older brother are going fishing and leaving him behind (he is NOT happy about that!).

We’re local but I want to stay overnight so we can watch fireworks and do the parks late, which we rarely do since we live about 45 minutes drive away and I’m always too tired.

Any opinions on these? I want quiet, comfortable beds, indoor corridors, and a pool within .5 miles from the esplanade. I’ll be walking to and from, which I’m very comfortable doing.

JW Marriott $336 .5 miles
SpringHill Suites $195 .5 miles
Windham $191 .5 miles
Portofino $136 .5 miles
Dessert Palms. $204 .4 miles

Fairfield Inn has exterior corridors I believe.

We like the Desert Palms which is right on the corner of Harbor and Katella. Haven't stayed there in a while, though.

I would pick Wyndham (free parking) or desert palms (included hot breakfast). For both I would ask for a room away from the elevators. Both have smallish pool areas but both pools were very clean. Have a fun trip!!

The Springhill also has free breakfast. I don't think the Fairfield will fit what you're looking for.

The JW Marriott is nice but has an extra destination fee and expensive parking fee. It's definitely the nicest of the bunch on there but clearly a different tier in terms of cost.

Thank you both!

I’ll take Fairfield off the list.
