Two questions...So currently booked to do MK in morning and end at Epcot, however, with extra extended magic hours, would you choose to do them reversed, and end with MK? And possibly start a little later at Epcot since there is the extra extended magic hours at MK that night.

However, a wrench in the plans (possibly), we have HOPPER tickets and currently "reserved" for MK, yet when I look at the reservation calendar it now shows MK on 4/12 as sold out for reservations. If we switch to Epcot, would we still be able to hop to MK even though reservations are no longer being accepted?

Thank you experts on thoughts, and answers ;)

Yes your park reservation is good all day!

Yes. There has only been 1 date when hopping was restricted, and it was only a couple of hours at MK on the anniversary. Park reservation availability does not reflect ability to hop.

I just checked, all parks show available on April 12. If you were on the screen to change parks, it won’t show MK because you already have that reserved, so it’s not “available” for you.

Thank you all for your feedback on switching the actual reservation if we do so, but in addition what are your thoughts to switching the order? Does that make more sense?

If you would be attending the extra evening hours, yes, I think it makes sense to visit Epcot in the morning and hop to MK later in the afternoon, instead of starting at MK, hopping to Epcot, then hopping back to MK for DEEH, which would cause you to lose a lot of time with transportation.

I'd plan my arrival time at Epcot based on what I wanted to do there. After arrival at MK I'd try to do the things that are not open during DEEH so that once DEEH begins I could concentrate on the things that do remain open then.

As above, you'll be fine to hop!

@CarolynFH THIS is what I was looking for, thank you!! May I ask your suggestion on start time at Epcot? And we are planning on purchasing Genie + and I guess attempting this stacking thing 😂🤔, can I also “stack” at multiple parks? Let’s say bc we wanna hop around 8pm back to MK could we make some genie reservations for MK although we used it earlier at Epcot

I'm going to hope that others come to answer these questions, because DH and I don't do rope drop and have been to WDW so many times that we skip a lot of attractions! I've stacked successfully but only at one park at a time, which has allowed us to enter the park as late as 4 PM and still do what we wanted to there. If you haven't already found the Genie+ thread you should read the first 7 posts there, which are constantly updated, and then if you still have questions, ask there!
