Ok We are a family of 4. DH, DD 10 and DS 7 and me. We will bes staying at AKL Villas (Jambo House). We will be arriving after our cruise and a day at sea world on thursday. We are planning on two waterpark days and no regular parks. We will also have a car. Where should we eat? One night should be Sanaa or Boma (not sure which) and I need help with the other nights. We are open to going to any hotel, Downtown Disney or Boardwalk area (can we park there?) and my daughter loves a good steak. I need at least 3 dinner possibly 4. We are New York foodies, but not neccesarily snobby about it (I could do a breakfast also).
Gimme your ideas!

Our best meals have mostly been at the signature restaurants ... Jiko at AKL and Artist Point at WL. (Although I have heard that Jiko changed chefs and the buzz hasn't been good). I have had the filets at both and they were delicious!

We also have had great meals at The Wave in the Contemporary and Kona Cafe at the Polynesian. DH said the Teriyaki Steak at Kona was one of the best he's had (although that was back in '07).

Can I pitch for Sanaa??????!!?!?!?

We had one of the best meals there, Dh prefered his steak there over Le Cellier!
Here is a menu link: http://allears.net/menu/menu_sanaad.htm

The bread service you can order is amazing!

Indian Style Bread Service
Choice of 3 breads and 3 accompaniments
Serves Two $8.99

Breads - Naan, Onion Kulcha, Paratha, Paneer Paratha

Accompaniments - Red Chile Sambal, Cucumber Raita, Coriander Chutney, Mango Chutney, Garlic Pickle, Green Mango Pickle, Roasted Red Bell Pepper Hummus, Tamarind Chutney

Plus you have the animal view while you eat.

Another vote for Sanaa.

Our party consisted of 3 adults & 1 child. To start we split the bread service & salad sampler. Each had our own entree (1 sustainable fish & 2 slow cooked in gravy). Finished off the meal spliting the dessert sampler. Delish!:thumbsup2

Boma breakfast. Indifferent about the dinner here.
The Wave
Jiko
Artist Point.

I need to be inspired - I have a car - so I can get anywhere!except the parks because I don't have tickets.

I must say that the Animal Kingdom Lodge was where two of our best meals were during the 12 days of Disney this month! So I vote for Sanaa and Jiko!!!

But if you want to drive somewhere, Kouzinna at the Boardwalk was awesome and Wolfgang Puck Cafe at Downtown Disney
