I just checked on www.nwa.com and my flight for the end of September went down from $320.50 to $136.50. I gave them a call and I now have a $184 credit voucher per person..... this little bug keeps whispering in my ear that maybe we should make a trip down between now and September. Help me justify this.... It would be free right? Airline would be paid for with the credit vouchers, we have AP's and I would be using my points????

LOL, this is what we did last year! SWA dropped their fares by half, so we booked another trip, then another! Yes, GO! Enjoy a different time of year, eat in the villa more, and have a two-for-one vacation! Those AP's aren't doing you any good at home. Diana

Hi Terry,

We are in Dearborn! My sister called me last week while we were at WDW to tell me that NWA had fares for $136. Our next scheduled trip isn't until January but with fares like that and AP's I am having a hard time passing it up! Go ahead, book it! It is "free" afterall!!

Sounds completely justified to me....as long as you don't need to buy an add on to do it (LOL...that was completely a joke! I don't think you'll be needing an add-on anytime soon!)

Heck...free trip. Go for it. My dh was trying to talk me into one over July 4th weekend...we're going to the beach instead.

Sounds like a plan, but you might need to "pack a lunch" to put you over the top and make your final justification!;)

What are you waiting for? ;)

If everything else is 'paid for', you'd still be spending money at home to eat / drink, so you may as well be doing it somewhere like WDW!

You have the points, go ahead and do it. It is a prepaid vacation.

Tell us if you plan to do it.

Uh oh. Sounds like you've got the other DVC disease that can accompany "point-itis". I'm not sure of its name, but it is the quest to find more and more ways to get back to WDW during the year. ;) ;)

If time and money are available and you'd like to get down there...go ahead. If I were you, I would love to be among the first to stay at my home resort and to see for certain what I've purchased.

Would it help if I told you how jealous I am? I don't think I've ever seen NWA offer a $136 RT airfare to MCO out of MSP. If you can get away, go for it!

I had some extra points I hadn't banked yet, found a two for one airfare from SWA, got a ressie at BCV for the first week in September.

I'M GOING BACK!

Spur of the moment? I think not!

What are you waiting for??? Get on the phone!! You'll get that "free" trip, plus have an additional 50.00 credit per person... I wouldn't even think twice about this one, WOOHOO... I'd be going to Disney!

GO GO GO!!!!! Why not? I would love for a super cheap airfare to pass across my screen... we would be back in a minute!

Cant wait to hear WHEN your going! LOL

We did this once. I heard of a great deal to go down the first week of December. Airfare was low, got a 20% Disney Club on a moderate (this was pre-DVC), had AP's. Why not go JUST ONCE during the Christmas season. Loved it so much, we went this time the next 3 years, this year will be the 5th year. It does get addicting...;)

Well, you all have convince me to go (didn't take much), and my husband said go for it, so the planning begins.

I don't think I am going to tell anyone outside of my family or you guys though since everyone else already thinks I am nuts going twice a year, if I tell them I am going 3 times, I will really have to listen to it.

Thanks for all the encourgement!

Hey Terry! I know what you mean about people saying.... your going AGAIN!!! We just finished up our third trip this year with plans to go back this December..... and then again in May 2003.

The way I figure it.... with our newly purchased APs we would be silly notto go so many times! SNORT!

Have fun planning!!!
