Help me Justify this!!!! WL v/s 2 rooms at Pop!

If you want to split the stay (and I asked CRO about this already) you have to purchse another base ticket for EACH person in your party. It cannot be just one person in the room, it has to be ALL of you or you dont get the dinning package. ITA with Suzanne!

Ok I don't want to rain on your parade but WL rooms are pretty small. I was suprised how tiny they are. I was also disapointed in the decoration of the room. Port Orleans Riverside has furniture built of logs with the bark still on and varnished. Wl furniture is just generic furniture with some bear stencils. I still can't get over that I was dissapointed in the decor of WL rooms as opposed to POR!

The lobby is stunning, the rooms, not so much. The same is true of AKL. This is my fav resort for themeing but the rooms are a big let down, though better decorated than WL. Just my two cents. Good luck with your decision and have a great vacation!

This might be heresy around here, but I can make do with 5 nights (and 5-6 days) at WDW. In that time I can see everything I need to see, usually twice (I am a Death March practisioner). Price out the 9 night versus 5 night vacation. Consider staying somewhere off-World for a night or two, and seeing some of the other sights in Orlando.

I have stayed at WL, and I feel it is a tiny bit over-rated. We found our room (overlooking the courtyard) quite noisy and a little cramped. The main pool is also a bit over-crowded. The restaurants on that property are very good. The boat service to MK was great and it is a pretty resort, but you can also enjoy the look of WL by going there for a meal and wandering around.

We are booked in September with free dining at the Wilderness Lodge in a woods view room. We have never stayed here and I'm looking so forward to it! I've always dreamed of staying at WL. HOWEVER, our price for 3 adults, 1 teenager for 9 nights with hoppers and water parks and the free dining is $3,848.15.

I priced out Pop Century for the same thing and the cost is $2,094.18.

Then the moderates are $2,789.00 (approx.)

Well since its me, DH, DS and Dmom I priced out 2 rooms at Pop and its only $2,700 (Approx.)

So now I'm sitting here thinking that for $1,000 less we could have two rooms and for $1,800 less we could stay at Pop! We just got back from Pop in March, all 4 of us and really didn't have any problems in the room.

I'm just looking at what I could do with that extra money. Then again I would love to stay at WL.

Honestly is it worth $1,800 more? What would you do?

I would say that you are the only person that can say if it is worth it. Will you have to take out a loan or carry a balance on a credit card with an interest rate on it? If so then don't spend the extra money. If you can swing the extra price go for it don't even think twice.
