So, I can make ADR's on Sunday (ignore my ticker, it is one day off ;) ), and without Park hours for May :sad2: , I'm doing the best I can, using touring plans best days, and the parade/fireworks time for the last week in April. Here's what I've come up with so far. The only ADR already made is Chef Mickey's, so everything can be changed, if you guys think my plan is just crazy :scared1: ! So, here's my ADR plan:

Possible Park Day w/ ADR’s:

Saturday (May 2nd): Arrive, half day at Epcot w/ kids, dinner—Garden Grill; go to bed early
Sunday: Full day at Hollywood Studios, dinner—Fantasmic Package, Mama Melrose (watch Fantasmic; 9pm)
Monday: Full Day at Magic Kingdom, Dinner—‘Ohana (watch electrical water parade, 9pm)
Tuesday: Full day at Magic Kingdom, Brunch—Crystal Palace with Pooh; Dinner-CS (watch wishes)
Wednesday: Full Day at Animal Kingdom; Dinner at Le Cellier (watch Illuminations; 9pm)
Thursday:—split up, Grandparents to Epcot; Parents with kids go to park of kids’ choice, Dinner—meet back for Dinner at WCC; Back to MK for Spectromagic (8pm).
Friday—split up, Parents to Epcot; Grandparents with kids go to park of kids’ choice, Dinner—Chef Mickey’s; 5:45 ADR
Saturday—DTD in the morning. Lunch at T-Rex??? Depart early afternoon.

Our dates are May 2nd-9th. None of us have ever been to WDW-- it will be me, DH, our two boys (almost 5 and almost 3), and my mom and dad :cool1: . We plan to go back to the hotel and rest each afternoon for a few hours :faint: . We do have park hoppers, so we can do more than one park in a day.

Here are my questions: Some of my days have us traveling quite a bit (like Tuesday and Thursday), is that going to be ok? Also, what time should I shoot for with these ADR's, so that we'll have time to get to each parade/show/fireworks in the evening? Oh, and here's a link to the April calendar: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/aprilfw09.cfm-- I'm using the last week as a guide (I've also checked the other month's calendars, and Thursdays seem to be the most reliable day for Spectromagic; and Sundays for Fantasmic). I think the other parades/shows/fireworks run every night. Any advice? --Katie

My only advice is to allow plenty of time between your dinners and start of the night time shows. For example, on the night you're aiming to see Illuminations, make your LeCellier ADR for 6:00.

I got burned last trip with a 7:00 p.m. ADR at the Garden Grill. We weren't seated until 7:30 and it took our waitress forever to charge our cards and give us receipts. I missed most of Illuminations (my favorite thing in all of WDW).

Thanks for the advice-- I'll try to make most of our ADR's pretty early, then. Especially the WCC one b/c we'll have to get back to MK for Spectromagic at 8pm. Do you think 5ish is good for that one? --Katie
