I have researched on here and still unsure about this. I am looking for the perfect bag to carry on my upcoming trip. The style I'm looking for is cross body (hopefully.. I carry a lot unfortunately). But I would like something light weight and can fit my essentials.. small wallet, phone, poncho, camera and a small bag with meds. AND a water bottle if I can stuff it in haha. Does anyone have good suggestions on what to carry?? Thanks!

I ordered a cross body bag from etsy. on there I found a lady that custom made mine for me. it was still under $25.

I bought a Baggallini bag for my last WDW trip and I still use it every day. It holds and organizes all of my stuff.

My Baggallini tore at the bottom seam the first time I used it (which was at Disney). Loved the bag up to that point. Was afraid to use it after that.

I much prefer my Overland Donner Equipment bag....has held up through 4 Disney trips, NYC, Chicago and other day trips.

I bought mine through Amazon (cheaper). A super near feature is it holds 2 water bottles (hidden) which don't get the contents of the bag wet!

I carry a Vera Bradley mini hipster but don't think you would get the water in there. My DGD carries a Vera hipster which would definitely hold all yo. u want to carry. They are a little pricey however unless you find a good sale online. Sometimes I use one of the cinch sack type backpacks. I find they are really comfortable and hold everything and more than I want to carry with me. I have several of different fabric weights. The last one I got was at the store near yak and yeti and is nylon and folds up small enough to fit in my pocket if I decide to start the day with just my phone and wallet in my pocket and my camera on a strap on my wrist. i have been skipping the wallet lately and put my ID, AP and room key and a few dollars in a small water wallet around my neck. That leaves room for the camera in my pocket. I find I need less each time I go. I do carry some tylenol in a sandwich bag that also fits in either the mini hipster or my pocket.

Thanks so much for all the replies! I am going to have a busy day tomorrow searching these bags online! haha.

Vera Bradley is one that I was looking into. One style I found was I believe saddle? I loved how the bag felt but it didn't have a zipper. I was afraid things will fall out. But I will check the hipsters out. Thanks!

I so wanted to love this bag but I was constantly having to adjust the strap, it just wasn't comfortable.

I did have this issue but I simply sewed a stitch in the strap to hold it in the perfect place. I also added a small carabiner to the strap to easily attach my keys and/or water bottle.

We buy our crossbody baggalinis (mom, niece and I)at TJ Maxx for about $20 to $40 and love them. I haven't used another type of everyday bag since Christmas.

That Donner bag looks really nice. I have that Baggallini mentioned above but this looks like a great crossbody. I am a big Vera fan and plan on using a teeny crossbody for my essentials and a backpack this trip with my littles but that Overland bag might be great for when my kids are bigger and I don't have to carry as much stuff.

For our upcoming trip this October I just purchased a Vera Bradley bag called the "convertible crossbody". It's bigger than the regular hipster which I wanted so I could carry my DSLR camera, wallet, brush, etc. I hope you find the perfect bag for you:goodvibes

My personal favorite bag to carry?? A diaper bag, believe it or not. My sons are all in their late teens ad twenties however, we all know that no place is entirely safe and secure. Not even Disney parks.

Who's going to try to rip off your DIAPER BAG? You can safely carry lots of stuff, and there are many compartments for odds and ends you would want to have with you.

Thinking outside the 'bag!'

My daughters love the size of the Vera Bradley hipster, but impossible to keep dry in the parks all day.

LeSportSac has a variety of cross body bags as does Sherpani. I prefer the Sherpanis because they are more water resistant than other bags I've tried.

Every time we have been, we have carried some sort of backpack. We stay off property and usually try to bring snacks/lunch to eat during the day. However, every time I have been, the backpack gets smaller. Last year I took a VB backpack that was a medium size. This year, I am taking an older style VB microfiber backpack that is smaller but has a few more pockets and compartments - I love to be organized! Hope you find something that works for you.

I was looking at this and was wondering if you think that it is enough padding for your DSLR? I hate carrying my big camera bag and have been searching for something else that will keep it protected.
