My family of 4 is moving outside Disney for the second half of our stay. Would like a 1 or 2 bdrm at a nice place. Any suggestions would help. Have a nice day!:) :bounce:

Lots of choices....what is the budget and and do the kids need separate bedrooms....Ted

Ted,
My budget is not over $125 per night. Kids don't really need seperate bedroom, but would be nice since we only have a standard room at bc at disney. Our dates are from Aug 14-18. Just contacted Vistana Resort didn't have any discount codes got a rate of 159 per night plus tax for a 1 bedroom.! Very nice place but a little costly.

you might try HotelKingdom.com...I know the Vistana Villages and the Caribe Royal have a 98.00 for 1 br for your dates... great prices on other hotels also...

I think you can get the $20 per night at Courtyard Marriott in Downtown Disney. You can walk right over to DD also.
You can get two connecting rooms for $40 per night. Let us know what you decide.

Why don't you try the Residence Inn by Marriot in LBV, It right around your price range and you get a "real" breakfast free. I never stayed on that property but have stayed at others and have always been satisfied. Mini kitchen, seperate bedroom.

js,

Are rooms really $20 per night at Courtyard Marriott. Where do you get these rates? What are rooms like.

Thanks,

hawt1, yes, go to mousesavers.com, I belive the rates are good until 10/2. They ran the same special last year too. Although we have been to WDW many times since, my family and I stayed there about 5 years ago using Marriott points and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. While the pool is that, just a pool, the hotel was clean, bus service was good and you are very close to DTD. We walked to DTD with my then 3 year old.
I belive you can also call the hotel directly for the rate.
When are your travel dates? Make sure you visit mousesavers.com and look for the codes for offsite or DTD hotels. You may even be able to grab the AllStars for a really cheap price. But for $20, I would just get two connecting rooms at Marriott Courtyard. Let me know how it turns out and where you end up deciding to go.

Don't waste your time. Rooms at those special rates have been long sold out. I know. I going to Orland virually the same time (8/15 - 8/22), so unless Courtyard was giving me the run around, they said virtuall all rooms at the $20 rate for the entire time period they were offering have already been sold out .. and that was about a month ago.

Good Luck ..

HI horsemom..lots of good advice from others....We really enjoyed the two and three bedroom condos at Somerset a few years ago....they are just off 192 east of Disney on Poinciana Blvd....they have a master bedroom with nice bath and shower and another separate bath, a nice community pool and only about 6 minutes to Disney on 192 or the Osceola Parkway..your can search Yahoo for " villas at Somerset" and a number of sites will pop up....I would be picky and get a king bed in your room and close to the pool...should be no more than 80 to 100 a night tops...do NOT do any location but Somerset as they are by far the closest to Disney, restaurants and shopping on 192.......just a thought, but it would really give you and dad some privacy and the kids a nice lot of space...enjoy...Ted

Thanks for everyone's help. My DH has decided that he wants to stay at Caribe Royale.(Maybe that slideeee?) Anyway thanks so much again you all have been a great help, as always!:D :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc
