Let me start by saying I went to my cousins wedding on Saturday and it was beautiful!
But, the music at the reception was for the most part hiphop/rap/club type, which isn't me, but the bridal party and the happy couple enjoyed it so that's what counts.
What I'm trying to do, is get a song list into my DJ for our at home reception, and DF and I were hoping to get some good songs from this wedding, which we didn't.
Now we have some of the "givens", (Rolling Stones, Beatles, Bowie), but we're really trying to keep with a oldies/70's rock/and 80's theme, and we're drawing blanks!
Hit me with your best dancing music so we can keep the party going all night!
Open to good slow dance suggestions as well, I'm finding the wedding song databases are all giving me the same stuff.
We have our:
First dance: Heaven (candlelight mix)
Mother/son: I hope you dance
Father/Daughter: I loved her first
Cake/garter/bouquet undecided.
