I am thinking of making Christmas cards and using the hint from the Cricut newsletter the other day about mixing spices in with your glue/embossing powder to make them scented...how cool is that?!

Ooohhhhhh! What a cool tip! I might steal that one for our Girl Scout card making session here this afternoon.

I have a cute gingerbread man punch I think I got at Mike's last year - like 90% off after Xmas. It isn't a MS one, but the punch has a white handle and red body and punches a cute man about an inch high. We're gonna use that one today.

TB and I checked out a huge Walmart today on our scrappy shopping trip - just to find the "clearance" MS punches/sets - no luck! Wah.....! But we did get great stuff at the NSLSS (Not-So-Local-Scrapbooking-Store)!

There was a gingerbread man that is similar to the one from last year (it may be exactly the same, I am not sure). It was just a border, no corner. There was one called rings that was just circles all the way around and one with circles and dots. There was also a snowflake border/corner set. Let me see if I can find a picture...Martha's site is so difficult to navigate! The new ones are not on her site. There were a couple that I would classify as "Holiday" but there were others that would work for everyday events.

I wouldn't do it with a page wioth pictures but you can also mix kool-aid packets (the add your own sugar ones) into embossing powder for smells and bright colors.
