I want the kind of bra I can trek around WDW for 10 hours and not want to rip my bra off the moment I step foot into the resort room. I am only 36B so some comfy sports bra types squish me down to nothing. I want to look like I have the ****s I have at least! So I always go w underwire and slight padding (no major push up deal though). But they are not comfy enough :(

I am the same size and really like the "barely there" line. In particular, I find their invisible look line to be the most comfy. It has underwire and just enough padding, IMHO. They're great to wear under anything and what I like the most is no lines and no digging or poking into your skin. I tend to get mine at Kohl's and if on sale & you use a coupon, you can get them at a pretty good price. Good luck!

The Genie bra is amazing. I'm 36DD and my back never hurts, no wires though that's all I've worn for years. I wondered how I ever managed without it!

I use Wacoals from Nordstrom. Usually wait until their half yearly sale, then stock up..they are not cheap, but I have heavy "breasticles" as Ruby calls them, and they can handle them, lol! ;)

I am the same size as the OP and just spent a morning at the local outlets trying on various bras in a number of stores. Ended up with the Maidenform Genius. http://www.maidenform.com/collectio...e-genius-tailored-unlined-underwire-bra-07176
After trying on all those bras this was the only one that I said "ahhh" when I put it on. I bought 3 and don't even want to wear anything else I had at home. Very smoothing under a t-shirt, comfy, & I prefer front adjustments (saves me from odd contortions trying to tighten a bra strap in public).

OP, have you ever had a bra professionally fitted? If not, now is the time. You'll be amazed at the difference.

I am the same size and I love the Body By Victoria wireless bra from Victoria's secret. It used to be a nice, smooth bra that you could wear under anything, but they just redesigned it and added some lace that I am afraid will take away the "smoothness". I have never worn an underwire, nor do I plan to. I think I look great without it and it is so much more comfortable than the few underwire styles I have tried on. Dh tells me I look great, and I, too, love the way this bra makes me look. Good luck, I hate bra shopping and I am so sad that VS changed my favorite bra and I might have to go on the hunt again!!

Thanks for all the suggestions! Where would I go to get fitted? VS good enough? Or department store?

Agreed!! I've been wearing these for years, they are extremely comfy for an underwire. I have bought others, but these are the only ones I ever actually wear.

Any good lingerie store should be able to fit you - even VS and Fredericks - as should most department stores but ask when you go in. Sometimes the people who are trained to do the fittings are there sometimes not. Lady Grace when they used to be around here was the best place to go but I'm not sure if they are still in business anymore or if they ever had stores in more than just my local malls.

I am a 32B, all of my bras are from Victoria's Secret. There are some I have (the more lacey ones) that are not so comfy by the end of the day haha. However, the softer ones, like the one i'm wearing now :woohoo: ,is VERY comfy. I think there's one called like, body by victoria? I'm not sure but there are some very soft ones there :) Otherwise, as a PP said, you probably can't go wrong with the one from Gap!

oh.my.goodness. I went to Victoria's Secret with my friend and she wanted to get fitted and they measured her THROUGH HER WINTER COAT. I was like, "umm..doesn't the coat add a ton of padding?!?!"

I used to be a 36B and then I got fitted and am a 32D! Huge difference in how I look and feel! I went to Nordstrom and they were great. Once I found out my size and bought a bra there I went to Nordstrom Rack and bought the same bras for a fraction of the price. I would not do a fitting at Victorias Secret.

Nordstrom or a bra store. You could try Soma, they do bra fittings, but I don't know how good they are.

Nordstrom for a fitting if you have one. By and large, they tend to have the best trained fitters. Being a fitter isn't easy. And even Nordstrom - some are better than others.

Your fitter should be measuring you twice - once under the bust and again across the nipples. WITHOUT the down jacket. Then, because manufacturers have variations, understand the band and cup sizing one up and one down. If you then at least SHOP for your bras at Nordstrom, the fitter will have a pretty good idea if she's been there a while on how each manufacturer fits. (Though Nordstrom bras are expensive and they only carry expensive bras - so you'll be taking this data to your local department store or Target and seeing what you can do without the fitter - the fitter is going to give you a pretty good idea - or get luck at the Rack - I'm rather impressed with sharbear's find - I can never find my size at The Rack).

Last time I needed a new bra (my previous model had been discountinued), I tried on 30 bras to get one that was comfortable. I bought four bras at $75 a bra, and I haven't bought a bra in four years (I wear mine for a few days before washing them unless I do something like jog in them, then wash gentle cycle and don't dry - but I'm in Minnesota where its rarely hot and humid (and when it is, I'm inside) - when I visited New Orleans I had to wash my bras out in the sink every day).

Spanx. They have a sports bra-like one that doesn't squash you down like a sports bra at all. I wear one every day because it is impossible for me to find a regular bra that fits. Even with the best fitters at Nordstrom. For what you are looking to wear it for, a ten hour day at Disney, this would be easy and super comfy. No clasps or anything. Bralleluia maybe? I forget what the model name is but just look for the one that looks like its a sports bra.

I see you live in Mass..They do still have a Lady Grace in Shrewsbury, I don't know if that is too far for you....

I second getting a good fitting. Once I started wearing bras that actually fit, I find them so comfortable I forget I'm wearing one. Before I was in the right size bra, every day I couldn't wait to get home and get it OFF.
