I've been working on our Sept. itinerary....making changes here and there based on your good advice. Please let me know what you think now. I'm trying to get all our ADRs planned before free dining hits.

Sat., Sept. 8, Arrival Day, Chef Mickey's, 5:00 p.m. Monorail to Epcot.
Sun., Sept. 9, MGM, Mama Melrose's FDP, 5:30 p.m.
Mon., Sept. 10, Epcot and Illuminations
Tues., Sept. 11, MK, Take boat to Poly for Kona at 5:10 p.m. then back to MK for nightly entertainment.
Wed., Sept. 12, CB at Ohana's at 7:30 a.m. then to BB. Dinner at Boma at 5:10. ??? What to do after that?
Thurs., Sept. 13, Don't know what to do this morning - maybe AK? DH and kids want to do DQ when it opens at 11:30. Epcot evening with LeCellier at 4:50 p.m. and hopefully an Illuminations Cruise.
Fri., Sept. 14, MK until 7 p.m. closing for MNSSHP, WCC at 7:40 p.m.
Sat., Sept. 15, Donald's Breakfastosauras at 8:00 a.m., AK day, then to MK for LTT at 5:45 p.m. and Spectro.
Sun., Sept. 16, Departure Day

what about some time in downtown disney and/or fantasia mini golf on wednesday? i say yes to AK on thursday.

I agree with DTD that morning. Maybe you could just spend some time by the pool at your resort. We never took time off for swimming, etc. until our last trip, and just an hour here or there made our trip so much more relaxing.

Figure in some down time, pool time, resort touring time, etc. We rented SeaRaycers one afternoon, and took a DVC tour for the fun of it one afternoon. Rent surreys or bikes. Check out the Boardwalk.

How about just hanging out in the pool Thursday???

Your ADRs look yummy!! Nice job!:thumbsup2

I didn't see any gaps....in fact, I think you need more gaps. ;)

Unless you have some breaks in there that you didn't tell us about, that schedule looks like a recipe for exhaustion to me. It can still be extremely hot and humid in September (98 degrees and 90% humidity during my end of Sept. trip a couple of years ago), and that will just suck the life right out of you.

Go ahead with what you have planned, but be open to breaking up those long days in the park with a trip back to the resort for a dip in the pool, or some quiet time in the room. Or, sleep in a bit and get a later start on the days you don't have a breakfast ADR.

Thanks for your advice. In Sept. 04 we went with an outline of what we wanted to do and then improvised as we went. For instance, MGM didn't hold our attention for a full day last year so we took an afternoon break to swim at the pool and then went back for our FDP. I just like to have a good starting point to improvise from and didn't know if we had the right parks on the right days and the right ADRs to go with them.
