My DH, my 2 girls (ages 4 and 10 months) and I are flying in on Friday, renting a 1-way rental car from Budget to get from the airport to the port and staying at the Radission. My folks are driving into town and planning to leave their car at the Radisson park and ride.

So I guess my options are
1) to return the rental car in the morning, have my dad follow me to Budget, return to the hotel and take the hotel shuttle to the port. We have a reservation for the 11am shuttle.
2) we drive to the port, drop everyone off with their luggage. My mom and I stay at the port with the girls. My DH follows dad back to the hotel to leave his car and then they go to Budget and take the Budget shuttle to the port and meet us there. I'm assuming we could start the check in process without them still?
3) We take separate transportation to the port and meet up when we get there.

There is no way that we could get 6 of us and all our luggage into one vehicle.

So from a logistics perspective which do you think would be better, easier?

I would go with #2. It would allow you to have your mom's help with the girls at the terminal while you wait for the men to return.

Depending on what time you want to get to the port, Id probably go with your option 2.

When your dh and df drops you off, you dont have to stand on the curb, unless the terminal hasnt opened yet. You and your mom can check in, while the car is dropped off, and you can generally sign the kids up for the kids clubs in the terminal, and have pictures taken with the characters that come out. Just make sure that your dad and husband have photo ids so they can get in the terminal.
