I've got 1 or 2 too many reservations. Of these places for dinner, which 2 have the best food and therefore I should keep? Thanks!

Maya Grill at Coronado Springs
Boma
Trails End
Captain's Grill

Thanks again.

I would personally remove Boma. The foods/dishes were not for us. I had researched and listened to everyone say how it was spicey but not bad. Well, I like spice (hot spices anyway) so I thought it would be good.

NOPE, it isn't hot spicey, it is sweet spicey. African cooking/dishes use alot of sweet spices, cinnamon, vanilla, fruits. All that was in ALL the dishes, including the meats. Yes the meats were rubbed with cinnamon, the potatoes, all the side, veggies everything had an underlying sweet taste.
It was like eating a holiday dessert for my meal.
(even the soups are sweet).

So if you don't like sweet, cinnamon flavors I would leave that off your plan.
If you do...well then you will love it.

Enjoy your trip!

Boma is a great dinner experience. Great food and its a pretty restaurant.
Captains Grille was great also. The Yacht Club is fun to visit, and the food was very good. Haven't been to the other two, but i have a friend who loves Maya Grill. Have fun!!

Oooo.......hard choices as I would recommend all 4.

We like Boma very much and if you have never been there, I'd recommend you keep it just because it is "different".

If you are not on a Dining Plan, Trails End is attractive because it is less expensive than many other buffets. That said, it is pretty basic American food. If you can get good fried chicken and BBQ at home, I guess this is one that I would drop.

Between Captain's Grill & Maya, you may have to actually sit down with the menus from both and figure out what everybody would order to see which one would appeal most. I do note that Captain's Grill offers some combo-meal-specials that include (limited choices) appetizer-entree-dessert. IF the specific choices would appeal to your tastes, then keep it and cancel Maya. Maya to me looks like it can't quite make up its mind whether it wants to be "exotic" or not - and mostly it's not.

I too would keep Boma. I enjoyed it and it was unique. I have not yet been to the other restaurants you mentioned though :sad1:

Personally, I'd look at which ones are easiest to get to. Where are you staying? Will you be using Disney transportation? If yes, are you willing to take a taxi? What park will you be at the day of each ADR?

Captain's Grill is IMO the easiest to get to from other resorts so I'd keep that. If one of the others is at your own resort then that's the other one I'd keep.
