HELP me decide

We are planning a 2 week trip for next summer. We only plan on going to the parks during the weekday and staying way off-site on the weekend. (probably at the beach). Help me decide between June 24th-July 8th and August 12th-26th. Is there any noticable differences in crowd levels? I assume the heat and the rain will be the same.

I would definitely pick August over July. Lots of schools are back in session then, and while it's still just as hot and still crowded, I don't think it will be nearly *as* crowded as July.

I agree with August!!!! Down here in south FLorida schools start back the first weeek of August. It might not make a HUGE difference in crowds but I think it will be a little better.

Don't forget that your June/July plan would have to include July 4th. While this may mean that things are more crowded, it could provide a unique opportunity to see fireworks on the beach or in a park.
