I'm not sure what to do, so I thought I would post this question to the group. I have a 2BR booked for Feb 13-18th at BCV ( home resort). Now DH's parents and sisters family want to go, but in October 17-21. They will be staying at POR, but what would are chances on getting a 1BR at this time would really like BCV, just to show off on how nice it is there (LOL). Then we would go back in Feb in a 1BR. What's are chances at booking that week some where else? We only have 230 pts - 30 have been banked from this year already, can we still use those if they have been banked for next year?
Thanks for your input!

I would think your chances of booking a 1BR at OKW (if you're looking to save points) in February should be good at the 7 month mark.

As for banked points...they cannot be returned and used in their original use year. However, you can borrow points from next year and it will end up being the same thing. Just make sure to confirm that they use those 30 banked points first when making your new reservation.

Sounds like all you can do is call MS and see if anything is available for October. A busy season at BCV...for sure. If there is availability, before you switch your reservation make sure the family's plan is set in stone (and they understand that yours will be too!)

No, you can't use those banked points for a trip during this use year...but you can borrow from 2005...and then use the banked points for your next Feb trip.

Edited to say that I'm assuming your talking '04 points here. Since I don't know your UY...it's a little tough to determine how to best use the points that are banked. Suffice it to say that once points are banked (or borrowed for that matter), they stay in that use year.
