Help me decide...Pop or AoA!

I'm trying to decide which resort to book for our trip next September. Last year we stayed at Pop and loved it. Our room was in the 60s section so location was perfect with a lake view and a perfect distance from the pool and food court. I would love to try AoA next time but would only book the LM section, (which is the furthest away) and am not so sure of the food selection. But the decor and the pool is a real selling point. Thoughts? Would you give up the decor/newness for a better room (location wise) and more appealing dining options (for some picky/boring eaters)

Cheers!! And TIA!

I am currently booked at POP and will just hop over to AoA and check out the ground. And while we're there, we are gonna have lunch or dinner there.

The LM is approximately the distance from 90s/80s bldg to POP food court. If that is too far for you, then you might not be happy with LM location.

I'm trying to make the same decision! We're currently booked into AoA but seriously considering changing to POP. I just remember getting off the bus after a long day at the park and even walking back to our room at the 50's or 60's buildings seemed too far. And we've always loved POP so I know we'd be happy but AoA certainly is appealing! The tough decisions you have to make when taking a Disney vacation. ;)

I'd book AoA because its new, and looks so cute. The pool area looks amazing, and (to me) the food options look wonderful.
We plan on making a stop during our Aug trip to walk around, and grab a bite.
That Crab Burger is calling my name :rotfl:

Also the bus stops are covered, esp nice not to have to stand out under the blazing sun, or torrential rains.

I was reading a blog about AoA (can you tell?) and they also have music piped in underwater at the main pool.

I recently switched our reservation from POP to AoA.
Honestly I'm a bit concerned about the location of the LM rooms, but I love the idea of a brand new resort.
Then again, this will be our first stay at WDW Resorts so I guess it will be a wonderful experience regardless of where we stay.
We will just make the best out of it....though still hoping it's not that bad.

I decided on AoA over Pop because the theming, inside and outside, looks more appealing to me... I love all the films featured at AoA! The pools also look very nice, although I can't swim because of skin problems. And the menu at AoA is a plus for me, though I'd have hated it as a kid - I was super picky until I was about 19!

If I was going to stay at Pop I'd want to stay in 80s/90s so I'd have a similar walk either way. That was really my primary concern.
