:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: Hi !!
We can't decide....waht would you do?

Our vacation is Wed May 31st-Sunday June 4th(leaving)
We will be driving on Wed and arrive around 10 am.We are staying at the DLH.
We have 4 day passes. We can't decide what to do.

1- Wednesday-Check in explore the hotel DTD, go swimming- if our room is available so we can change.Just take it easy.Eat Dinner at Goofy's Kitchen.

Sunday-head to to park before we drive home.We would only stay until 2 p.m

or

2- Wednesdaycheck in and head to Disneyland.

Sunday- relax and swim before we check out.Character Breakfast or lunch.Hang out in DTD before we drive home

We can't decide which day to not go to the park

Thanks for your oppinions

That's the same time we plan on being there. I would DEFINITELY go to the park(s) on Wednesday! You'll get so many more hours out of your ticket than you would on Sunday. Plus, Wednesday is bound to be less crowded than Sunday, so you would get more done in the hours that you are there. Then Sunday morning you'll have plenty of time to pack, do a character breakfast, get souvenirs in DTD after you've had all week to scope them out, or whatever else without feeling pressed for time. That's exactly what we did on our last trip and it worked out really well. We didn't have any trouble filling that time outside the parks on the last day. :) Have fun!

At least for me, I am always excited to go in the parks, because that is why I am there.

I also think it may be less crowded on Wednesday than Sunday.

We always go to the park on the last day. :thumbsup2

One thing we have done that we have liked on the last day is to check out early, put the luggage in the car and pull the car into the DD parking lot - early enough for a parking spot right close to Rainforest. When we are done in the park, we take the Monorail to Rainforest and have a quick bite - validate our parking (5 hours with a table service) and pour ourselves back into our conviniently placed car and head on home. :goodvibes .

Also, if you go to the park when you first arrive , it may already be packed. I like to start off on an easier note. :teeth:

It is really personal preference.

I really love the early mornings at DL, before the crowds hit, but based upon your timing and the difference between midweek in late May or any weekend day I'd either:
- upgrade to 5 day passes (not too much more $) or
- go Wednesday, and switch GK's to Sunday for brunch before leaving town.

Looks like you are getting mixed reviews. I think it partly depends on whether you are morning people or night people. We are night people and so would rather go to the park on arrival day and stay until it closes. Then on our last day we would do just what you suggested. Since you are driving, it may not be as important, but when I have to get to the airport to catch a flight I kind of worry about it all morning and feel really stressed and rushed at the park. On the other hand, if you are early risers and not as likely to want to close down the park, you might rather go ahead and get up early Sunday to get checked out and head to the park before it opens at 8:00.

If you can arrive at Disneyland and resist going in until the following morning, you are stronger people than we are!

We arrived at the hotel at 2PM after flying from Australia and having been awake for 24 hours, and still went straight there.

On a more serious note, as mentioned above, crowds should be smaller on a Wednesday so you will get more done (we arrived on a Wednesday and did over a dozen rides and saw the parade and fireworks all before the park clsoed at 8PM).

It also means you can have a relaxing day on the final day, and make your farewells the night before.

Its only a $10 difference between 4-5 day hoppers, go for the extra day!

I would go on Wed for sure, just due to the crowd factor alone. Sundays are busy. Plus, after walking non-stop for four days, you will be ready to have a leisurely brunch, shop and get ready to go home. That has been my experience, though. Of course, you do not mention age or stamina levels, if you can, by all means upgrade and go on Sunday if you can!

Have a great time whatever you decide.

I would go on Wed. I almost always go on Sundays and the crowds have really been building the last few weeks. You will have more hours to enjoy the parks and fewer people to deal with. Go and enjoy!

Wow!!!
Thanks for all the quick responses.

5 day pass is tempting but i think we will stick with the four day.
We have decided to go Wenesday.

Thanks a bunch
