Help me decide, once and for all!

Where would you stay? We are going to do one or the other.

  • Yellowstone Suite, splurge for our anniversary

  • 2 concierge rooms, more beds, still on 7th floor

What would you do?

4 nights in May at WL.

Yellowstone Suite, $895 per night plus tax for a total of $3,991.72

2 concierge rooms, $385 per night plus tax for a total of $3,434.24
(there may be a code available shortly which would bring the total to $2,408.40)

So, please vote and let me know.

Both rooms would be on concierge level.

A great view is guaranteed in the suite.

The suite has a king bed and a sleeper sofa. The concierge rooms would most likely give us 4 beds and 2 full baths.

Thanks for voting!:sunny:

That's a tough one, I was going to vote for the suite, why not splurge for your anniversary, but the bathrooms are why I voted for the concierge.

......are the difference here. Without codes, I'd definately do the suite!

How many people are going? Is it just the two of you?

I am planning on trying to apply a code to the reservation.

Without codes, we would definately do the suite.

There are 4 of us going. DH, myself and our two children.

Thanks for the replies. I think we are going to go with the concierge rooms but I'm still not sure.

Just bumping up for some more votes.

I'm also thinking of one night in a concierge room because we may arrive late and then 3 nights in the suite.

Now.....I LIKE that idea, floridafam!::yes::

I hope you can keep your suite, I really do!

Well, since you said this WoodysRoundup, I'll have to completely agree!

After battling cancer last year, and who knows what is still in store for me, I feel the exact same way now!

Something changed in me about living......loving, laughing, etc.....

Long story...short!

I'm going to pray that you will be provided with the extra $$$$ for DH's bike AND the suite!::yes::

Well since you asked;) If no codes come out than definately the suite. But if codes come out I would go for the 2 rooms. However, I would book only one concierge room, and one regular room for your DH to sleep. ANd you would all have benefit of concierge since it is only 4.

Okay, now I'm in tears. I didn't realize how much this trip means to us.

I live by "you only live once". My brother passed away on May 23 a few years ago and DH will be doing the Florida Half Ironman on May 23 in his honor.

I think I'm going to get the suite back. You only live once!

I would also opt for the suite. Like Woody said you only live once. That's a motto I live by.

My sister just booked a suite a WL as well and she is doing cartwheels. Not so sure about her husband though.;) Sure glad we are staying in seperate resorts. Would not want to be there when ge gets the bill!

Good Luck.

I've never seen the suite at the WL, but I voted for it. I have stayed in the 2 BR suite at AKL and am assuming it is set up in the same manner (it was basically a 1 br suite connected to a regular room). There was a 1 and 1/2 baths in the one part and 1 full in the other and enough room for like 8 people to sleep in beds and enough floor space to have a dance party. Plus, you are getting 1 King bed and 1 queen bed.

Have a great trip and I am sure you will love whatever rooms you end up in!

Bambi Tamby,

You didn't make me cry, I made myself cry. I miss my brother!

He would have loved the WL. He loved to fly fish and spend time outdoors. We stopped at a lodge in Wisconsin very similar to WL on our way back from his treatment at the Mayo Clinic.

It's going to be an emotional trip for me. I know I'm going to cry when I see my DH cross the finish line for the triathlon. He got into the sport because of my brother.

Thanks for the group hug:D

TeaPlease,

What type of suite did your sister book at WL?

The saga continues....

I changed the Yellowstone Suite to 2 concierge rooms. Then I started to regret my decision.

The suite was gone when I called back 20 minutes later.

So, now we have the Yosemit Suite for 2 nights and then a concierge room for 2 nights. We hope 2 more nights open up in the Yosemite Suite.

I think they have a picture of me up on a dart board at Guest Services so they can take out their frustrations from all of my phone calls.

I must say that a CM named Marie was very helpful in getting this all straightened out. :sunny:

She just said she booked the presidential suite. I'm really not sure what that means;) She always goes all out, so I am not surprised. Hey I noticed we have similar count downs, see ya there!
