We will be in the world from June 5-12 next year. We have 5 day tickets. It will be myself, DH, and our two DDs (4 and 7). I know we are doing 1 day at AK and we're skipping DHS. We are trying to decide if we should do 3 MK/1 EPCOT or 2 days of each. My girls are princess and Minnie obsessed. I went to WDW every other year as a kid, and I remember loving MK, but kinda hating EPCOT. As an adult, I'd like more EPCOT time, but my main concern is my girls' experience. We are staying in the EPCOT area (YC). I'd love to hear other parents thoughts on what worked for them!

Some added info - my oldest DD is terrified of thrill rides. So no TT, Mission Space, roller coasters of any kind. I MAY be able to convince her to go on Soarin'

What about if you plan 2 days at MK and one day at Epcot then play it by ear after that? If they don't like thrill rides the only ride at Epcot that will need a FP is soarin so if you hit that the one day you know you are going most of the others should be short waits. I've had good luck booking FP the night before but I don't do meet and greets and my world doesn't end if I have to miss something. You may find you actually want to spend one resort day since kids do love the pool at YC.

I would suggest getting hopper passes. Being so close to epcot, it would be so nice to pop in for a couple hours in the evening. My boys loved Epcot at that age because we spent frequent, smaller amounts of time there. WS often has a lot of princesses too. With hoppers you can split the days up and do at least a 1/2 day at DS. My youngest loved DS at four. I would also look at the difference between 5 & 7 day passes. So very little difference and it allows you to be in the parks everyday. We most often arrive late afternoon and make a earlier dinner reservation for the first night at WS. Its just enough excitement for that first night.

Thanks for the input! We do have 1 resort day planned to enjoy SAB in the middle of our park days. Does anyone know when the Frozen ride is supposed to open? I thought I read May and my kids are part of the Frozen obsessed contingent.

We always do 2 days at MK and 2 days at Epcot. My DD (just shy of 4) loves Epcot. There are a lot princesses to meet at Epcot - Snow White, Jasmine & Aladdin, Aurora, and Belle. If your kids are into arts and crafts, I think they will like coloring Duffy around WS. The musical shows, acrobats in China, and the flag show in Italy really appeal to my DD. Where you are staying, it will be so convenient to do 2 days in Epcot and have pool breaks. My DD completely loves that Figment ride and it's one of the few rides that you can actually ride over and over again with minimal wait. The biggest downside to Epcot (for me) is that my dd wants me to buy her everything.

Our last trip my kids were 5&6, they LOVED EPCOT. Living with the Land, the Ellen's Energy, Journey to Imagination. They loved TT and Soarin (Soarin is their favorite ride). They enjoyed the pavilions. We did the Behind the Seeds tour and they enjoyed that so much. Animal Kingdom is their next favorite park, I can't imagine going to WDW and not doing AK. Hollywood Studios is harder to skip now that so much is closed, even tho they love Toy Story Mania.

I would do 2 days at each especially given that you're staying at Yacht Club, and it's just so easy and convenient to get to Epcot. You might be surprised how much your girls like it there.
