help me decide on linens

for dd bed---the walls are painted a pale purple....have lime green storage & hot pink storage in there - so we're gonna use all those colors.

Here's what I've found:

DD says she likes the waffle weave bedspread shown ....gonna have 2 beds in the room so buying 2 of things...

And honestly can't believe she chose plain over the floral pattern...but hey its cheaper that way...

My question is: HOW can I add some pizzaz to the plain waffle weave? Would you buy the throw pillow or shams from pom pom bedding & the valance? Or would you stick to the shams in the waffle weave fabric?

Help me figure out how to make this room less boring....
