You would not buy AKV period? -OR- Are you referring to not buying AKV for trading out purposes?
If someone wants to get into AKV how would one do so without paying such a high price? Do prices ever go down? I am curious about this?
Since I got most of my points for less than $70 a point, I can't see spending $104 a point for newer points. I'll just use my non-AKV points to stay there. We're even thinking of selling our smaller 50 point contract to buy a totally different timeshare (non-DVC) to be able to get something down near Marco Island. Trading out DVC points for non-DVC resorts just aren't cost effective to me.
) but there is a chance that in years to come these could be available on the secondary market for less than the current cost. Yes "years to come" so it would not be instant gratification. This is the other item that has my dh and I wondering about buying direct or via someone wanting to get their money back out.....
