We are trying to decide if we are going to do the Chefs table. I am a foodie and would love to do the Chefs Table. My wife is not a foodie and she wants to know if it is worth the extra $30 per person to do the CHef's table.

Can someone who has had the V & A's regular menu and the Chefs table menu give me their opinions?

Thanks in advance.

JudySue, my late wife, was among other things a gourmet cook. She had (and used) over 30 feet of cookbooks at home, as well as subscriptions which she read to Gourmet, Cook's and Bon Appetite. The first time we did Chef's Table she said it was the best cooking lesson she had ever had.

I've had CT 3 times and the regular dining room twice. It is definitely worth the extra $30. The CT menu includes the items which are extra cost options on the regular menu. Just figure you will be there for about four hours and leave pleasantly stuffed.

We've done the Chef's Table once and the regular dining room a number of times. I too think the CT is well worth the difference. It was a unique experience.

But once was probably enough for us. The dining room is very romantic and we enjoy that.
