Help me decide my dates

LOOONNNGG time lurker, first time poster.....

I am in the process of booking our trip. We came to Disney in 2001 and 2002, but we came in early May. Due to the kids now in school, we can't come that early this year.

Now I am trying to decide between a couple of different date ranges. Need some help.....

First choice: Leave on Wednesday, May 25th (right after school is out) and stay until June 4th. The Pros to this time frame is that some schools might not be out yet, and the weather might not be "really" hot yet. The Con is this would include Memorial Day.

Second choice: Leave on June 8 and stay until June 18. The Pro to this choice is that Memorial Day is not in the time frame. The Cons would be that the weather might be getting really hot and most schools are probably out by this time.

What are YOUR thought??

I would pick the 8th to the 18th. Not sure if this makes sense but the earlier I take my vacation in the summer the quicker it seems that summer goes by. Also the first weekend in June is Gay Day and I've heard that it gets pretty packed then.

I would go with the second choice. Memorial Day & Gay Days...way too crowded! The difference in temp isn't that big of a deal. Also, don't many northern schools just get out in mid-June? We usually go around this time. It works fine. Just go back to your hotel for a swim and/or nap in the afternoon.

Thanks for the welcome and the replies.

I was leaning toward the 8th - 18th as well. I forgot to mention the other PRO for the earlier dates: Airfare is cheaper for that time period.

I did know that Gay Days was included in the earlier set of dates. I figured that would increase the crowd attendance as well.

Thanks for all the help. The more I think about it, the more I am leaning toward the later dates.
