Help me decide Liberty Tree or Whispering Canyon

For our last night at WDW. We'll be in MK that day, so LTT will be closer/less travel time. BUT, the reviews of WCC sound like fun, and I may be ready for a break from the characters by that point in the trip.

What's the better choice?

How long does it take to go to WCC from MK, and back?

Timing is a tough one as you'll be taking the boat from the MK to WL. How long it takes is dependant on if the boat is at the dock when you are or if you've got to wait a little while... Ditto for your return trip.

Hmm, tough one. We have ADRs at both places on our Aug trip. The two places really are very different. I think the food and fun is better at the WCC. If seeing characters is important than you should choose LTT, but if not I would go with the WCC. Have you considered scheduling a late dinner so that you will be done with MK by the time you eat? I don't know your plans but it is an option. In the end though, I think both places are great and you will enjoy both.

We did both in Oct., both were fine, but we are going back to LTT, and not to WCC. It was fine, I have no complaints, the milkshake was great! I think we would definitely eat there if we were stayign there...but since LTT is in the park, we are going to eat there, quick and convenient. Not much help, huh!

We have a few other character meals planned, so I guess the appeal of LTT is simply that it's in the park (and we will have done CRT, Tony's and CP at other points in the trip). The last day is our second MK day, and we also just did a full day there in November, so the idea of a park break appeals to me in theory as I sit here and plan it...but who knows how I'll feel that day?

We want to be back at MK for SpectroMagic and Wishes, so I'm leaning toward an earlier dinner at WCC if we do that.
