Hi all,
We are headed to WDW next week for MNSSHP. We only intended to go for the party and then come back home, but we had free flights and free offsite hotel so we are sticking around for about a week. This would be our first trip offsite and first trip with no plans to visit the parks (as of yet.)
Right now we are trying to decide if we should pick up 2 or 3 day WDW tickets. (Just did a 2 week trip in May.) On our last trip, there was so much construction, but there was plenty to work with. I'm wondering if that will be the case for such a short trip. If we did 2 parks, it would be AK and Epcot (with MK on the Halloween party night.)
With recent crowd reports and construction, I'm wondering if we should skip the parks outside of MNSSHP and just keep our resort ADRs, do Disney Springs (haven't gone on our last few trips) and relax at our resort (Hyatt Grand Cypress.) OR we could do Universal and let the kids finally see WWHP.
Last time we were there, pretty much all of Innoventions was closed. Has more opened up? AK had a ton of construction going on as well.
I can't imagine not visiting the Disney parks (I'm having a hard time with the idea of being offsite, but I can't turn down free hotel.) That said, we have a big trip coming up in late April, so I'm not so sure it would be worth it to go this time.
Thoughts?
