Help me decide! Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon this Saturday??

Hi All!
We are going to be at WDW for just 2 days (this Friday and Saturday)--not going to the big parks this time...mainly because it is school vacation week. However, we are going to surprise our kids and go to a water park on Saturday. I can't decide which one!!

Typhoon Lagoon: Kids haven't been there, but it is one of the magic hour parks that day. Will it be more crowded? I'd love to ride the new water coaster!

Blizzard Beach: Kids have been but loved it! Will it be less crowded because it does not have magic hours?

What are the busiest times for the parks (daily-morning, afternoon)?

Help!! I am so unable to decide? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

If it were me, I would go to BB. I think it has the better slides. We were at TL last month and I didn't think that Crush N Gusher was anything special. The wave pool was pretty good though. We were there on an EMH day and it didn't seem crowded at all, so I wouldn't choose one over the other based on that.

We prefer the tropical themeing of TL. JMO. Either way, you're sure to have fun. Since the kids haven't been to TL, why not give it a try?

We'll be there for 7 days in May. Is it worth going to both water parks over that time span or will I enjoy my time my time more in the theme parks? Going to WDW is a special treat for us since we're in California, so I want to maximize the opportunity.
