Help me decide, 2013 Spring

We usually go around the beginning of March, well before Easter and most Spring Breaks. I was just looking at the Calendar and Easter is the very end of March. How will this effect crowds? We want 3-4 times out of our passes and we will puchase them again prior to 2013 Spring Trip. I do not want to go too late into the crowds but not so early that the next Spring for a full year we go too early. We always do our big trips in Fall and/or Christmas before the rush and Spring. We never go when it is too hot out. I have two kids with needs and I even get grumpy in the heat lol.

The week prior to Easter and Christmas-NYE are the #1 and #2 busiest times of the year for WDW. The week of 3/23 will be VERY crowded. I think 3/16 would be OK. I do not think there will be much of a difference between 3/16 and 3/9.

Thank you. I was thinking middle of March. Oh the joy... funny thing is Easter in 2013 is April 20. They keep moving it, lol.

Early March will be the same as early March in the past. With Easter on March 31, the time from March 24 to April 6 will be extremely crowded. It will be worse than Easter weeks in other years because it is a double whammy time. You have a very large number of schools that always have spring break either the week before or of Easter regardless of when Easter occurs. Then you have another very large number of schools that always have their spring break the last week of March or first week of April. When you combine those together you get an Easter crowd that can be worse than Christmas week.

The week of March 17 will also be no picnic. That is a week when most colleges have their spring break so it is still very packed.

We have decided to go to HHI & Vero when Easter or the week before falls on Spring Break. We'll did BWV in 2011 & will 2014. We may go to SSR or OKW and only go to AK & DTD if beach resorts are full.
