HELP me decide 1st Time DLR

We have stayed at Hojo's and BWPPI. We have had great experiences with both... Hojo's is a farther walk up Harbor and does not have breakfast, but they do offer rooms at the discounted entertainment rate ($79.00 for disney view w/ 2 queen beds). BWPPI is right across the street and offers continental breakfast..

If you are going in the warmer months and looking for a good pool for swimming, Hojo's just opened up their new pool area (can't remember the name). BWPPI has a pool, but the area is quite small.

What are the dates of your vacation?

If you want to be right across the street and cost doesn't matter, BWPPI is closest. If you don't mind walking up a block, HoJo has a much better pool area-- one big pool at the back, and a new water-slide playground in the front by the hot tub. Plus if you can get the Ent rate, it's well worth the extra 5 minutes' walk.

With your kids' ages, I'd probably pick HoJo.

Thank you so much for the response. We're planning Dec.23-26,the peak season. I don't think we will use the pool even though it's heated. Are there many people walking on the Harbor Blvd even late at night? Those days, the park is open til 12am.

Yikes, you are going to be there the busiest days of the year. Yes, there are tons of people walking on the walkways, even at midnight (especially at midnight, as everybody is leaving the parks!) It feels very safe, as you are in crowds with lots of families.

Since swimming is not a crucial option at that time of year, I'd probably pick BWPPI, because it's the closest.
