Help me convince myself

We started planning our Dec 2006 trip with a decision to stay at the WL. We then decided that it was a little bit more than we wanted to spend so we looked at moderates and DH wants POR, nothing else. Since we are going at Christamas time I want to stay somewhere that is going to be decorated nicely and CSR looks beautiful. DH does not want to stay there though because we just stayed there in Oct. He wants to try something new, so basically it is POR or nothing... I know whay am I complaning.

My biggest worry about POR is the storage area in the bathrooms, it looks like a little wooden shelf above the sink, is that all it really is? Also are the rooms nice, they look somewhat odd to me in the pictures that I have seen. Would POFQ maybe be a better choice? I just want to make sure that I will not be disappointed.

Any help or words of encouragement would be soooooooo much appreciated.

The POR rooms are fine. I have stayed there and at WL. I don't even think the WL rooms are too much larger in terms of actual space. yes - there is that shelf in the bathroom but so what?

The theming at POR is great and the grounds are just beautiful. We took a water mouse down the sassagoula and it was one of my favorite things to do. Yes, the WL is a great hotel, and the location on bay lake is wonderful -- but certainly don't be upset by POR. We especially liked Alligator Bayou (as everyone says try to get building 14 or close).

Go, enjoy and spend this time looking forward to something you will love!
