Help me convince my SIL to stay at a MOD Resort

I had never stayed at a value until last summer. We stayed at POP. We all had very different opinions. My DD, 3.5 at the time, loved it because there was Lady and the Tramp, Baloo, etc. I felt our room was fine - clean, enough room, and pretty quiet - but I thought the atmosphere of the hotel was very loud and hectic. DH was fine with the atmosphere, but said he felt the room felt like a cheap hotel room to him - this is a surprise because he isn't usually too picky, especially when something's cheaper! We would rather choose a mod for the relaxed atmosphere and the room decor. The amenities just seemed a lot nicer and I like the calm after being in the parks all day. Can you get any discounts at Swan or Dolphin? We currently have a room booked there cheaper than a mod would be. Just a thought! I think if it came down to being able to go or not based on staying at a value, we would still stay at Pop or All Stars, but it would not be our first choice.

Boy, this takes me back. . . Our first couple of trips to Disney we were accompanied by my SIL who was a DW veteran. She and our teenaged nephew loved the mods -- we were young, with a 5 year old, and still getting used to spending all that money on a vacation. . . She did the values with us and was okay -- these days, we usually wind up in a Deluxe with our now teenager to give us all the space we need. . .

Think about -- getting a family suite at All Star Music to give your family some more room, and your SIL can choose either a normal room or a suite, based on her needs. . .

Or -- maybe staying at the Coronado Springs while your SIL is nearby at the All Stars. They are very close.

Or -- we've been to POP in the last year or so and found it to be our new favorite value with dedicated bus service. . .
