LOL....

Okay So, we have talked about going on an Adults only trip since we went the first time back in Feb 09. Well, we got a 40% off pin recently and I'm trying to convince DH to go back in Dec for 3nights (2days in the park). We have NEVER gotten our honeymoon and in 2wks we celebrate our 7th anniversary. He is kind of "disneyed out" because of the past 3 trips w/ the kiddos and the whole doing the kiddo stuff. Can you all help me come up w/ a list of things to share w/ him that Adults love to do or something?

I mentioned this to him b4 and he was like "well, what would it be with La Nouba tickets." So, I think I would surprise him w/ La Nouba tickets. Oh and he and I sat down and looked at it one time and talked about how cool it would be to do this. We even discussed driving vs flying (this was after getting the pin btw), so I know he has considered it too. Its kind of frustrating to know he thinks about it and then goes "ugh i'm not so sure".

I am trying to decide between showing him Pop Century or Coronado Springs (Diff is $150 almost) too, so any help on that end too would be GREAT.

I was thinking the 2 parks we would visit would be MK and EPCOT because we love those two parks, but he isnt for sure there is much other than splash space and big thunder mountains for adults to do.

LWatson, there are numerous threads on this issue already posted. The book gets rewritten on this subject constantly. A quick search will give you twice the information you need. Here's a worn old post to get you started. The attractions remain constant, but your approach as a couple is something you would know more about than anyone else.

For me, Coronado Springs is a waste - 'cause I'm never there. The lobby is nice, so I go and have a few drinks at the bar if I want to refresh the impression. For others, it's the highlight of the trip to spend some bucks on nicer digs. What brings you the most satisfaction, a 20%(on a good day) nicer sleeping room or $150?

Have fun, the Christmas decorations in MK, WS and DHS are incredible! (AK's are nice, but it's my favorite park, so the everyday design outshines them for me.)

Ill cross my fingers for you. IMO I would stay at Coronado Springs, I do spend time at the hotel, and even like to walk around or enjoy a meal or drink at my hotel. So for me where I stay is very important.

My favorite 2 parks are DS and Epcot. DS is a not miss at the holidays, Osbourne Family Lights is the perfect way to get in the holiday spirit. While every park has things to offer adults with no children, for me DS and Epcot just have more.

The last time I went for the holidays I spent about an entire night at the GF (I wasn't staying there). I had dinner there, then sat in the lobby and listened to music while enjoying some gingerbread and a glass of wine, you can see and hear Wishes from the docks. Its great couple time. Plus the GF is absolutely gorgeous!!

Since there's no kids, how about one of the tours offered? The Segway tours are fun, or choose something else that interests you.
