Help me convince DH..Please send Pixie Dust!

Hello Everyone!
I need some help from my fellow DIS-ers and DVC family!! DH and I are going to WDW for 8 days in August for our anniversary, my graduation celebration and we're bringing our friends (who are first timers) with us. So here's my dilemma....I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to go for a short trip in October! Nothing fancy, just 4-5 days, long enough to hit MNSSHP twice and F&W festival. I'm even willing to suck it up and live in a studio so we can save points. It would be a pretty inexpensive trip...both of us have PAPs and they will be good for this trip, accomodations are provided (thank you DVC) so we are looking at airfare (which is coming down) and food (not bothering with DDP for such a short trip and F&W going on and our love of gardengrocer.com)
and MNSSHP tickets for 2 nights. I don't know if DH can tolerate 2 trips 9 weeks apart so I need some help convincing him that we REALLY need to do this!! Anyone have any ideas???

You have your own answer in your post. Point out the big differences with the MNSSHP and F&W festival. Point out that the parks are all decorated for Halloween, the different parades, firework shows, all the wonderful new foods at food and wine. If someone's a Disney fan, you never really have to twist the arm TOO much. Best of luck and let us know what happens.

This really says it all! I hope you do get to go!!! DH and I are doing a long weekend, the last one in September, because I really do like the MNSSHPs, the MK is beautifully decorated for Harvest Time as well as for Halloween.

We've never been in Oct. We've been trying to plan to go but it hasn't worked out because I've been in school for the last 2 years and I'm graduating in August! We bought DVC about halfway through and I'm anxious to use it!

There is your answer! You've never been in October. Why not try that month THIS year?

OK, you are trying to convice DH that this will be "inexpensive" but you want to do MNSSHP for TWO nights? That's not "budget" LOL and probably is overkill on a short trip. (Personally it's a "been there done that,don't have to do it again" for me but everyone should try it once. However, twice on a 4 to 5 day trip??)

We have a new system with parties! One night to ride, which will leave us more time to do other things and one night to catch shows, fireworks, parades and character pics. I know it sounds crazy, but it works for us. DH is on the hook...the trip is now riding on our accountant! DH says if we do well on our refund, we'll go. I checked air and it will only cost us $398 round trip for both of us. I figured $180 for party tickets and the rest for groceries and food. He even said that if we do a studio, he's not against trying BLT if we can get a ressie.
