I am planning to go to Orlando for about 12 days in February and will be visiting Disney, Universal and Seaworld. We will be arriving somewhere around the 10th but dates are not firm yet. We will be renting a car for the entire stay.
The first part of the trip should be low crowds but the later part runs over the Presidents Day holiday. I am currently booked at Disney Port Orleans Riverside with free dining for the entire stay. My current plan is to do at least one day at each of the Universal parks and Seaworld while crowds are still low.
I am considering cutting my stay at Disney property short by 5 nights and transfering to the Royal Pacific so that we can get FOTL privileges. If we do this we do Disney only while we are on their property and Universal only while at the Royal Pacific. The difference in price isn't significant enough to sway me in either directions so this is all about what makes touring easier.
So, would you prefer to visit Universal in low season without FOTL, or in peak season with FOTL?
