Help me choose when to go please!

We were planning a trip to disney for the second week in january this is our first trip. All my dh and ds6 have been talking about is who is going to win on buzz. I saw that buzz will be down during that time and dh said we really wanted to go on that can't we change our dates. I know we are going to run into things being repair and updated and we are ok with that just not buzz. He is ds favorite. So would you move the date ahead and go from the 1 to the well we could stay anywhere from the 8 to the 11 of january. Or would you wait and go in Feb 5 thru 12? Does disney usually reopen on the date they post or is that just a hopeful date?

Change your dates. The first part of January can be cool, but it is very quiet, (well, for Disney anyway). My oldest son was the BIGGEST Buzz fan in the world. He LOVED that ride. When you get there early in the morning, you can ride it 5 or 6 times in a row before there is any line at all. We used to start and end all of our trips with a ride, (or 2 or 10), on Buzz.

Is buzz suppossed to re-open on the 5th? We will be leaving on the 6th. I hadn't looked at closures yet. I guess I better think about that.

If you have never done Buzz and it's your DS favorite I think I would move the dates as it really is a fun ride!
