DH and I are going on an adults only trip :cool1: and are looking for somewhere to have dinner on our AK day either at a resort or DS. DH is not an extremely adventurous eater and neither of us eat seafood. We have booked the following ADRs: 'Ohana, HDDR, Trattoria al Forno, San Angel & Beaches and Cream.

We have come up with a list of possibilities and would love to hear some input from all of you Disney food experts!
Turf Club, Olivia's, Il Mulino, Garden Grove, Big River Grille, Paradiso 37, Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe, Portabella Tratoria

Any thoughts??

Paradiso is a place I had a horrible experience at so I gave it another shot... Still not great. I wouldn't go back.

Portobello's is yummy but is heavy on garlic- which I happen to love! For some reason though it is not very popular.

Never have eaten at Wolfgang Cafe but we eat at Wolfgang express all of the time and it is fabulous!!!!!

I truly love Olivia's. I believe it is one Disney's best hidden gems. If I were going to do a Wolfgang restaurant, I would actually hit up Wolfgang Puck Express. It is quick service but to me its much better than the full table service spots of his. We like to go to WPE and get an entree and then go over to Ghiradellis and split dessert. I also love Raglan Road. I know you don't have it listed but its wonderful. Big River Grill is small but their burgers and beer selection are pretty darn good. Il Mulino is a great choice!

Il Mulino is fantastic! The Swan/Dolphin resorts truly have some of the best restaurants at WDW. The atmosphere is also lovely and the service is top-notch.

Big River is essentially an Applebee's. I certainly wouldn't recommend it over any of the restaurants you listed.

Garden Grove has a decent buffet.

We enjoyed Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe a few years back, but I don't think it is a place I would revisit.

I didn't like Paradiso 37 either. The food was just OK and our server had a tendency to engage in very long conversations with other diners. I like Olivia's, Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe, and Portobello. I think these are all good choices for those who aren't adventurous eaters. I'm trying Il Mulino on my next trip.

Turf Club,We have friends that rave about TC Olivia's, We really like Olivias, this would be my choice among all listed Il Mulino, N/O Garden Grove, N/O Big River Grille, Been once, want go back Paradiso 37, Went for lunch once and really enjoyed, but heard dinner is loud Wolfgang Puck Grand Cafe, N/O Portabella Tratoria, N/O

ADR's already made:

Ohana's is for us, just not that big of deal, and even with ADR's be prepared to wait, and wait, table just don't seem to turn as fast a lot of sitting and waiting for fireworks.

San Angel - food here is just to spicy for me, lots of heat. DH even thinks its spicy and he enjoys a bit more heat.

Possible ADR'S:

We love Portabella at D, there appetizer platter is one of our fav's, food and service have always been great. Nice wine selection.

Big River for us is a lunch spot, sports bar food is what my DH calls it.

Paradiso 37 I agree with the others, so so at best.

Raglan Road is a fun date night, great selection on food and service is always good. Dancers, music, good food what's not to love.

Boathouse, - has lots of non seafood options so check out the menu.

Narcoossee at the GF is another spot with great views and food.

Grand Floridian Café offers some nice options for dinner.

As a suggestion you might want to spend a bit of time looking at the menus, you can check it out on here and also over at Allears. Enjoy your Trip

I just reread their menu and I think I'd like to try it! I know we already have an Italian restaurant on the list, but we LOVE Italian food and this sounds delicious!
