Help me choose dinner..

I currently have Tusker house reserved for dinner but I am having second thoughts about it. Can you guys throw out some opinions between Tusker, T-Rex and Boma? It will be my wife and 12 year old daughter, all non picky eaters so that is not an issue. Give me opinions on which one is good and why or if you have something else in mind either at DTD or in a resort. Thanks in advance all!

On our family trip last November we ate at both Boma and Tusker House. Boma was by request of our children, DD (age 13) and DS (age 9 ) as a place they wanted to return to. We liked both of these restaurants. DS and I also ate at at Tusker House in May when we went on a trip with my brother. Both Boma and Tusker House have a nice variety of items to choose from and are very similar in the flavors that are offfered in the dishes. I would say you can't go wrong with either one of them. In general, we aren't picky eaters and like to try new things from time to time. Both of these restaurants are perfect for that.

I can't comment on the food at T-Rex because we haven't gone there yet. The only thing I can say is that we looked at the menu when we walked by one night and weren't all that impressed. There's nothing special on the menu. They give everything a jazzed up name and put a higher price on it because of it. For that reason alone, I would definately do Boma or Tusker House over T-Rex.

Boma is an excellent buffet with LOTS of variety--a lot of familiar food, and a lot of interesting new things to try. My DD13 loved it! Also, if you've never been, it's a nice side benefit to see the Animal Kingdom Lodge--it's beautiful.

I never been to Tusker House going next month but I heard it's just like Boma but Boma ( they r buffets as I'm sure you know) is a little better. T-Rex I have never been but my DS has and said it was great there. Going there next month. But if I had to pick one I guess it would be Boma's.
