Help me choose a room at AKL

Booked a pool view room at AKL in Sept. Can someone recommend a room location that gives a good pool view? Also is an upper floor better for the view? Thanks in advance.

We usually request the Giraffe Trail, 3rd floor or higher, rooms 3018 and up. There is an elevator in the middle of the hallway that lets you out nice and close to the pool without having to go through the lobby and it's a quick walk to the Mara as well, very handy for that morning coffee run

We stayed in a Giraffe Trail room, second floor. LOVED this location. We were right near the pool slide. We had a great view, 3 minute walk to the Mara for our morning coffee and a 5 minute walk to the lobby.

I had room 3010 in June..it was lobby level so no waiting for an elevator after a day at the parks and as the PP said, there is an elevator that takes you right out to the pool!

View of pool..some rooms past 3020 were in the trees and didn't have much of a pool view. I liked that the Jiko creek was below us

If you see the balcony in the shadow of the tree..between the 2 green ones..that was it
I can't say enough about how great this room was!

There is a lot of green FOLIAGE and trees in the entire pool area. so your view of the pool will be very nice but if you only want to see the pool, ask for a ground floor room.
