I will be headed down to the World January 3rd through the 10th with my parents, along with my uncle and a few family friends. Except for my parents and me, no one has been to WDW before (or hasn't been in decades). We'll be staying at a grand villa at AKL, and we want to show everyone a great time. We've got six days pretty much planned, and they are as follows:
California Grill
Boma
Sanaa
Le Cellier (lunch)/Rose & Crown (dinner/Illuminations)
Wolfgang Puck's
Kona

All of these are restaurants we've enjoyed a lot in the past, but we need a final restaurant.

The details: we are all adults, ranging in age from 25 to 80-something. We will not be on the dining plan, but we do have Tables in Wonderland, so we prefer places that accept it. My parents are not particularly adventurous eaters and won't eat fish. One member of the party has trouble eating beef, but loves fish. We probably do not want to eat at a buffet (other than Boma) or any other all-you-can eat place, because several members of the party have small appetites (a couple have large appetites, however!).

My parents had a poor experience at Jiko and aren't likely to go back, so that's probably out (despite being the obvious choice). We're considering Coral Reef, but that's another place my parents ate once and didn't like. I've suggested the Flying Fish -- does that have enough to tempt non fish-eaters?

So what does everyone think?

My mother has absolutely no desire to ever eat at V&A because she thinks the food is too weird.

Narcoossee's is a possibility, but I've seen some bad reviews of it here lately.

Id say try Coral Reef again it seems like a good choice for the group. Not everyone can have everything they want :) and the atmosphere is amazing for people who have never been. Good Luck!!

We just got back and had a fantastic dinner at Portabello's in DTD. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent. A really enjoyable experience.

Flying Fish has some really good selections for those non fish eaters. The New York Strip there was soooooooooo good  My husband ordered it and I ate about half along with my snapper!
