Which of these three travel dates would you choose and why?

1. March 13-17, 2017
2. June 5-9, 2017
3. June 12-16, 2017

Thanks!

March, easily. It's a month before Easter so no spring break crowds. June is when schools start to let out, and both of your June dates fall during grad night celebration dates. :crazy2:

I'd go March with no hesitation.

I would say June 5-9. #1 because the attractions currently closed for Star Wars Land will be back up (most are slated open in April, also March has a lot of refurbs usually).
#2 because a lot of schools are still in session through the first week or so of June. The further into summer you get, the more crowded it's likely to be.
Good luck with your choice!! Have a great trip!

Thinking that March will not have spring break crowds is incorrect thinking (IMO). We just went for spring break (March 5-11) and we were certainly not alone. Many spring breakers were also there from Canada and Arizona. Even though Easter is later next year, many schools don't make their breaks coincide with Easter. All of that said, the parks where beautiful in spring bloom and the crowds weren't terrible (most of the time).

I would choose March or the earlier June dates.

I agree that there are several districts that take their spring break in March regardless of when Easter is. But when Easter is also in March, those who do base spring break on Easter are off too. So while there will be some spring break crowding in March next year, it shouldn't be nearly as bad as it was this year.

We are in Wisconsin and have spring break in March, no matter when Easter is. Also, we were in WDW at the beginning of March and noticed colleges were on break. (Not many college kids but staff and their young families.)

Buttercup3 - Do you know which specific attractions are down that will be back up by June?

Fantasmic, Disneyland Railroad, Mark Twain Riverboat, Tom Sawyer Island, Davy Crockett's canoes...those are currently all closed and are scheduled to open 4/2/17.
Not enough to totally postpone a trip (we're going this year despite the closures), but something to consider if other dates work just as well for you!

Disney has given no specfic date for the reopening of these attractions that I have seen. If you got the date from TP, the common consensus is the the date is just an inaccurate place holder.

Early June would be my choice from those options. As mentioned above, not all schools are out, not as hot as the rest of the summer, and longer hours and generally more available entertainment during the week than March. If it gets too hot, go early, take a break, come back in evening, you still get a lot done.
