Help me choose: 2 half days at AK, or 1 full day? HS day interfering!

Ok. I only have TWO DAYS in my November trip where I can fit in HS or AK. Family of 4 (2 adults, 2 girls aged 7 and 9) are AP holders and can and are willing to park hop.

11/15 I have 4pm Hoop Dee Doo and nothing else planned before or after.

11/16 I was originally planning on doing 1/2 day (am) HS and 1/2 day (pm) at AK. I have a 1:30pm 50's PTC lunch and was planning on leaving right after lunch to hit AK. No dinner reservations made for that night. We have never been to HS and this is our 4th trip!

We only have 1 other day for AK - and that's arrival day and we wouldn't get there until after 5pm. Currently the calendar says AK is closing at 7 pm, but I'm not sure if that will change once Pandora opens. We have 5:40pm dinner reservations at Tusker House where we are meeting other family for dinner.

I can't decide whether to keep our 50's PTC lunch and park hop to AK on the 16th, or do 1/2 day at HS on the 15th before going to HDDR and doing a FULL DAY AK on the 16th. If we keep the 15th free before HDDR, we can sleep in a little and maybe hit DS for a bit.

I seriously can't decide, and everyone else has different opinions and DH really doesn't care.

Any input/insight is much appreciated. I know this is ultimately my decision- I just hate being indecisive!

Hmm can you make a later HDDR reservation and spend the time before that at HS. If you keep it at 4:00 you should leave HS about 2:30 to get to HDDR. That wont leave you much time at HS. After HDDR you could go to DS. I would do a full day at AK on the 16th.

We made the early HDDR res so we could do the camp fire and sing-along after...I'm not heart set on DS so not going after HDDR is ok w/me.

Ok then I would take the time before HDDR and spend it at HS since you have never been there even if you have to leave at 2:30.
I'm not sure if you should go to 50's PT if you do that since you will be going to HDDR. Also the two times we have eaten there it seemed to take forever to be seated. Or you could do an 11:00 am lunch there on the 15th but that would be 5 hours from your HDDR dinner.
