So, my dad will be turning 58 the day we leave for our WDW trip this August. His favourite vacation spot is Disney World ... he loves the place (almost as much as me). He's not into the big thrill rides ... but he's up for pretty much everything else.
Here's the thing, I would like to do something special, probably at one of our dinners, in honour of his bday. I know it would be the highight of his trip. (I was able to arrange personalized menus and a diver at Coral Reef during our December trip - he was blown away by that and still talks about it.)
So does anyone have any suggestions?
We area party of 6 (dad, mom, me, sis, bil & 1 y.o. nephew).
We have ressies at:
Cape May (Dinner)
Hollywood & Vine (Dinner)
Crystal Palace (Dinner)
O'hanna (Dinner)
Coral Reef (Dinner)
Hoop Dee Doo Revue
Boma (Breakfast)
Yak & Yeti (Dinner)
Suggestions don't have to be restaurant related, but do need to be inexpensive/free. (We don't normally do two big trips in such a short time. But who can resist a 40% Disney discount?) We are staying standard view at AKL. We plan on visiting each park, each waterpark, and DTD. We aren't planning on leaving Disney property.
(I thought about trying to arrange another diver as we are returning to Coral Reef ... but have decided not to - the wow factor would be diminished, plus the divers are so limited that it seems only fair to let another family experience that bit of magic for the first time.)
