Help.... MCO or Sanford Airport?

I think I'm going to try the Sanford Airport.
Everyone who has responded so far has had good experiences with it.

I know the drive from this airport is longer than with MCO but would you happen to remember about how long of a drive it is?

I'm glad you were able to get a direct flight this time. It's a long trip for you regardless. I hope you have a wonderful time.

I'd love to make a trip to the UK in the next year or so.
So many places to go and see.....however my heart always wanders back to "the mouse".

It's not a bad drive at all actually. Under 45 min but we stopped for groceries and lunch so I can't give you an exact figure. I have heard though that the drive from MCO can be long if there is traffic. It all depends on what time your flight is....on the return trip back there was an accident so it took us longer to get back to the airport. Just allow plenty of time and you should be fine.

Thanks for the info...

Your trip will be here before you know it! It's amazing how fast time flies by...

It took us more than an hour to get from Sanford to the rental villa at the junction of the 192 and 27. I kept to the speed limit, and it was quite slow going on the 192 after Celebration.

However, it was nothing like spending the same length of time on the M1 in the UK! Lots of courteous drivers (even lorries) also observing speed limit, and much less traffic overall.

This will be our 4th trip - 10 of us this time. We keep on adding more people to our party each visit!

Do visit the UK, Mlissa88, there's so much to see. Don't miss Edinburgh - it's beautiful, historic and cosmopolitan. But we're off topic....

It sounds like an interesting topic to me! I'll have to read up on Edinbugh. I'll keep that in mind for future vacations. I've been wanting to visit the UK for the last 20 years. The closest I've gotten is London's Heathrow(sp?) Airport. I'll have to start saving up!

I'm glad you are enjoying your Disney trips and sharing it with friends by bringing more along each time.

When is your next trip to Disney?
