Help?? matching family shirts

Can anyone help me find matching family vacation shirts for our trip? I would prefers something that just has the disney logo, or something we can customize. My ds14 thinks hes way to cool to wear mickey I would love for all of us to wear matching shirts at least one day on our trip. I tried the disney store and didn't find any matching ones. Any help is greatly appreciated. Tia.

Hi. I'm actually wearing one of my matching family shirts right now. They have these great navy blue shirts with Mickey on the front. It has college style letters that say Mickey across the top. They have them in sizes from 12 months all the way to 3XL. My girls and I wear them from time to time. They are great for boys/ men and girls. You can find them in any hotel gift shop. So if you're staying on property, check out the gift shop once you get there.

Try the DIS designs board. Lots of great designs posted there. Some people will even design custom made shirts for you too.

Make your own! Go to the Creative Disigns board (towards the bottom of the dis) and check out some of the designs that have been made by fellow disers. Post on the thread what you would like your shirt to say and they design it for you - for FREE! Then you just print it out onto transfer paper and iron it on your shirts - it's so easy! I just made my shirts last night and they came out great! They are so creative and are more than happy to customize anything you want.

You can watch for sales at disneyoutlet.com. I got matching short sleeve polos for our whole family (around $8 for adults and $5 for kids) as well as logo T-shirts ($4.99) for everyone. The sales were great, I also got each of our kids a new swimsuit ($3), new beach towel ($4), 2 pairs of PJ pals each ($2.69-$5) and some incredible plus toys. All in all, I got 17 items for $75. I pulled something new and special out of our suitcases pretty much every day of our trip. And DH wore his polo to work yesterday.

I made matching mickey tye dye shirts for our family. Even Papa is going to wear one. The kids got to pick the colors and I tye dyed them. The mickey's did not always come out perfect but that it what the bleach pen was made for right. Don't be afraid to give it a try. It's fun and the kids have asked to make some as birthday presents for friends.

DH, DD12, DS9, & I wear matching Disney shirts during every day of our 7-9 day trips. We have about 10 sets of matching shirts.

Most we got from Disneyshopping.com, but we also got some from the Disney store. I also made us sets Mickey swirl-head shirts last spring (found the idea for this on the Creative DISigns forum here).

BTW, we all wear solid black shorts each day of our trip.
They go great with the matching shirts!!

This also makes packing for the trip very easy.
I just pack all of the matching shirts & make sure each person has at least 4 pairs of black shorts. We also wear navy shorts with one or two of the shirts.

Yesterday at the Disney Store in the mall they had a lot of t shirts for $2.99 each. I managed to find one pattern in a size for all six of our group. (It is a burgundy shirt with a quizzical looking Mickey and Donald, cute for all ages.) I also found red polos with the small Mickey emblem at the online Disney store for a great price. Teenagers can be picky though, so good luck!

Thanks for everyones help so far. I will keep looking at the disney store but haven't found anything yet. I def. can't make the tye dye ones, crafty challenged I love the idea of the matching shirts though.

The problems with matching shirts:

- if your kid has a melt down, and you dh replies in a similar manner, you cannot pretend to not know them.

- if a child wearing a Tshirt of the same hue, with the coloring and size of your own child runs past, your mommy hands might grab them before your brain engages

- just when you think you've escaped, you hear a stranger say, "its ok honey, THERE'S your mommy"

There's got to be a Letterman's top ten in here somewhere. anyone?? (ok, I will admit to truth behind the first two)

We do it too, and I think my preteen is about to start balking at the idea. And in the vein of "Its her vacation, too" I'm thinking about letting her wear a same-colored shirt with nothing "dorky" on it.

I am so waiting to get a noon-time obligation over so I can zoom to the disney store.

Does anyone know if there's anywhere to custom order matching shirts for a family vacation? We'd like to have some shirts personalized for our Disney Vacation but don't want to have to worry about copyright infringements and stuff like that. Any help would be great!

Disneystore.com had some matching family outfits for everyone in the family with the same pattern they are usually on sale about now also the mall disney store do the same but by now they are getting ready for school so a lot may be gone.

i got matching shirts for the whole family at disneyshopping and just so ya know...our shirts are way bigger than the size they indicate...i went by there size chart and got dh a XL, me a L, dd a S, & dd a M...boy were there sizes way off...the M looks like it could fit me and my L is way big even for my dh...i even double checked their sizes and this is what they recommended...
