Help! Magical Express!

We are leaving Sunday (Jan 1) for SSR and I have not yet received my ME tags & info. I was trying to call MS but keep getting the busy signal. Should I be worried? I booked this quite a while ago. Can the overnight the tags (We have 8 people and I don't want any lost luggage!!!) THANKS!

I just booked ME on Thursday two weeks before our travel date. I was told that I wouldn't receive my luggage tags in time. My DH and I need to retrieve our luggage and then take it to the Welcome desk. Disney will make sure that my luggage makes it to my resort.

It might be to late to call ME direct 1866-5990951

However you can still just get your luggage and take to ME with you or in the pass you could just take your airline luggage tags to the ME deck and they will pull them for you.

Call Me to make sure. MS is doing the same thing they are not linked Mears is running ME with help from Disney for the bag retreival.

I had the same problem for our trip 3 weeks ago. They said when you check in at the desk Lower level of A you can give them your luggage tags and they will get your bags for you or if you want to go to baggage claim yourself you bring the bags down with you and they will put them on the bus with you to go to the resort. You will just have to valet them to the room yourself. Where as everyone else who got the luggage tags the bags will be taken to their room within a couple hours. It was actually nice having our bags with us. We got to change and freshen up before heading to the parks. If you call magical express they will email this.

I called ME direct and apparently I didn't have a reservation (despite having made one and having a conf #!!!)
So, I now have my ressie for ME but no tags. They told me to check in at the welcome ctr and give our claim check and they will get them and bring them to our room. She suggested putting a ribbon or something that matches on all the bags. I think I am going to make yellow Mickey heads with "SSR" on them so they will know...
Any other suggestions?

If you want to be really sure your luggage arrives, claim it yourself and bring it to the welcome center. The CMs can take it from there.

FWIW, I think your tag idea is a good one, as long as the tags are sturdy enough to make it through. I'd suggest you make an extra one to give the CM at the welcome center - it should also have your name and address, resort destination and the number of bags you checked.
