Greetings...

This is my first time posting to this board, so thank you for any assistance y'all might be able to offer.

I am at Disney World for a very short vacation with my mum and son (2 days!). We are going to be at the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday and I, unfortunately, have to take FOUR work calls! :scared1: Actually, they will be quick - purely informational calls.

Can anyone suggest a few quiet spots around the park where I can sit and take those four calls? In case time of day matters, the calls are at 10, 11, 1 and 2. A cafe would be great, although I'm concerned that might be loud. Any suggestions?

Thanks, folks, looking forward to seeing Mickey and the gang!

The quietest place I can think of is Tom Sawyer Island, but it'll be a PITA getting there 4x. The smoking areas are usually out of the way so they may be an option.

When you say they are "information" calls does that mean you will put your phone on mute and not be speaking?

If that's that case there are plenty of places where you can sit on a bench and listen. However, if you need to actively be in a long conservation you are going to have a much harder time.

Also, be aware that cell signals in Disney are not that great.

The best place I can think of is near the restrooms by Space Mountain. I think they are far enough away from the speedway .... Thoughts?
If the park isn't overly crowded the Tomorrowland Noodle station is a great place to sit if it is closed.

Ah yes ,good suggestions both of these!

How about inside the train station? I don't think its very crowded during the day, and you can reach it easily if you are in frontierland.

I was going to suggest the train station too - if it's feasible at that time of day. It's nice and cool and it wasn't crowded whenever I went there to wait. I was also going to suggest the smoking areas unless you're allergic to smoke. Every time I've passed through one, I've noticed it's usually a very quiet area. If it's not a high-traffic time for food, you could go in one of the quick stop indoor cafes and grab a drink while you take the calls.

The first-aid station area.

fyi- check out the parade and showtimes. You don't want to sitdown in your quiet spot and suddenly have a parade or show start nearby.:sad2:

I hope you don't have to stay in one place for all these calls:sad2:

Another good place would be by the fast pass machines for the princesses/Mickey.

I was also going to suggest the first aid area. At 10 am you could go into pretty much any counter service restaurant and have quiet.
